Family-friendly vacation rentals in Hyde Park, Tampa

Hands down my favorite AirBNB experience to date. I was SO happy to find the home was very clean and didn't have any chemical plug-in type smells when we walked in; just fresh. Loved all of the windows and gorgeous sunshine! Our family felt at home and cozy right away! Couches were comfortable for snuggling and watching tv/movies during down time (which I find is very rare in AirBNB homes). Pillows and beds were comfortable too! Kitchenware and dishes were in great condition and had everything I needed when cooking (which we did everyday except one night out for dinner). We had the luxury of walking to the beach -and back- anytime; so close! Was especially nice for the kids when they wanted a snack or bathroom break. Host was incredibly responsive to me even before I fully booked our reservation. We've been coming to Clearwater for 15 years and always stay with family, I am so happy we decided to book our own space this trip, it was AMAZING! Would come back again & again! Thank you!

The house is beautiful and spacious. We had a large crew with us and never felt crammed. Our favorite spot was the table outside, under the house. The neighborhood is quiet, except for the dog across the way, but it was never a problem. The swamp smelled a little. The location is top notch - conveniently close to resturants and beaches. We recommend staying here if you have a large group who like their privacy!

My family and I had an amazing time here. The place was full of amenities and we were surprised with all of the accommodations. There was a pack n play for our toddler, toys put away in a closet, a high chair for him as well. The chickens were a nice touch, and the back yard was a true oasis. Definitely would come here again.

We really liked the setup. Grandma and grandpa liked the privacy occupying the smaller adjacent living area. the grandkids could come over often but when it was time, we could send them back by their parents in the larger section. We liked having the swimming area on the first floor which made it easy to prevent the kids from sneaking down. If we kept them off the deck unsupervised, they would not have to worry about pool safety. The 6 grandkids had a blast playing in the pool and hot tub. The kitchen facilities allowed us to cook most of our meals in house. The families enjoyed the nearby beaches and other activities. All in all, everyone agreed that we had one of the best family vacations ever and that this Airbnb was fantastic. Brian and Jane Smith

Had the best time here with all my girlfriends! The location was incredible and the views were spectacular! Struggled with the front lock a little bit, but overall a fantastic trip! Can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Jades beautiful townhouse. We loved the rooftop area with all of its amenities. There is great and comfortable furniture, bed linens, extra blankets and sheets and the pretty beach towels were so much appreciated. We had everything we needed for our vacation. The decor is so tasteful and her instructions and communication were perfect!!! We cannot wait to return to Clearwater and Jades home away from home.

We had the perfect stay, from the accommodations to the location, our families were extremely comfortable and relaxed! The host was courteous and communicative, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We even brought our boat, which was an incredible touch and allowed us the opportunity to explore the area by water, as well as enjoy a quick walk to the hustle and bustle of Clearwater Beach. Highly recommend!

Great little gem in the heart of the newly created Midtown Tampa area. The property is in a small community of townhomes, gated overnight. It is between 2 major roads and walking distance from multiple bars / restaurants. Very close to multiple grocery superstores as well as Whole Foods and Trader Joe's! Very close to International mall, International Airport, South Tampa and Channel side nights out. Large bedrooms, bright living room, equipped kitchen. Host, Luz is very friendly and accommodating. She is very quick to respond to app messages. Our family felt at home as soon as we walked in.

Ashley was a fantastic host and the house was as described. The neighborhood was a little rough around the edges, but for the price we paid it worked out. It was only 12 minutes from downtown, which was nice. The house had plenty of space. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

We stayed for 6 nights while in town for our daughter’s wedding. Lovely historic home! Was spacious and clean, with nice little extras in the kitchen. Perfect location.

My daughter and I spent 4 nights at the Tree House and it was lovely. It is in the back yard of the host's home, yet felt very private due to the lush tropical landscaping and trees. For me, the best part was the screened-in porch where I spent hours each morning enjoying the coffee Susan provided. It's located in a great little older neighborhood with easy street-parking and within walking distance of Hyde Park area - lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. The approx. 100 year-old apartment was as described which means I understood we would not have the luxuries of a dishwasher or central heat and air - and we were fine with that.

My wife and I stayed for Christmas week and it was the perfect place to rest and recharge amid the festivities. We loved everything about this charming bungalow and felt very much at home. We especially appreciated the proximity to Crescent Lake for walks with our pup Stanley! Just can’t say enough good things about the experience—clean, cozy, well-stocked with all the essentials, warm and very relaxing. The proximity to I-275 and US-19 makes getting to Tampa and Clearwater easy and the gulf beaches are a short drive west. Best of all, host Gina is a gem of a human! Cathy, Stanley and I give it 4 thumbs and 4 paws up!l 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🐾🐾 and would love to visit again!

This is what an Airbnb should be!!!! Jimmy nailed it!!!! Very spacious, nice back yard, beautiful decor. I will keep this one on my list for future stays. Jimmy has GREAT communication. This property has easy check in!!!!

My husband and I had a great stay at the bungalow. Nice, clean and homey. The location is good for downtown and neighboring restaurants. It was nice to walk my dog with such friendly neighbors. I recommend the bungalow if your in St. Petersburg. - Gayle & Rob

Our family had a great stay at Stephanie’s! The place was quaint and felt just like home. We especially loved the backyard deck and hot tub. Stephanie was incredibly accommodating as we made last minute plans and booked the house 30 minutes before we arrived!

Christina was very helpful as we were in town for a cruise and they kick you off the ship at 8 am and Christina accommodated us in every way. Loved the place and the balcony. At night they start a fire and light the tiki lights and you can sit out there and listen to the sound of the waves hitting the rocks will your toes in sand. If I’m ever in Tampa I would stay again.

Truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again should the need arise. I imagine if the weather would have been nicer we would have been able to enjoy the beautiful backyard lanai and pool but unfortunately mother nature had other plans.

Cheryl's place was great for our family of three. Clean, comfortable rooms, plenty of space, light filled, perfect AC, all the supplies one can think of in the kitchen, bathrooms. Very nice, clean, generously sized pool and back yard were one of reasons I picked the place and it was very enjoyable. Garage filled with towels, beach chairs, swimming goggles, swimming / beach toys. Cheryl thought of everything! Easy location for the Tampa Bay area. Definitely recommend!

Ryan was so very attentive and helpful ! He was able to accommodate a last-minute weekday stay when our original trip planned to Washington DC was rerouted to Tampa Florida! Was just my young daughter and I and I have to say Ryan’s Airbnb was absolutely perfect, every amenity you could need it was very clean. The bed in the pillows were the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced at an Airbnb. My daughter very much enjoyed his very friendly cat that hangs out by the pool the Riverside view and seating to relax on the deck by the river is just stunning. Although we spent a majority of our time in Clearwater, the location was easily accessible to all highways and everywhere we were looking to visit. Ryan even saved me on a rental car recommendation. We very much enjoyed our stay, we even extended to an additional day ! We will be back, Ryan! Thank you so much for making my daughter and I feel so comfortable on a last-minute change of vacation plans!

Wonderful Stay in Tampa! I recently had the pleasure of staying in Ryan’s fantastic 4-level home in Tampa, and I can't say enough good things about it! The neighborhood was vibrant and welcoming, with plenty of nearby parks and local shops to explore. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a clean and spacious home that exceeded our expectations. Each level offered ample room for relaxation and socializing, making it perfect for our group. The decor was modern and inviting, and the amenities provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our visit. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Tampa. I can't wait to return!

Awesome place to stay! Super fun outdoor space with plenty of seating, and as you can see in the listing, an outdoor bar/TV, hot tub, and pool. Diane and her co-hosts were very helpful, especially when we couldn’t get the hot tub working. Only thing to be aware of is that the roosters can get crowing very early in the morning. Excellent stay and would absolutely come back.

House was set-up well for multi-family stay with kiddos aged teenager to toddler. Lots of thoughtful amenities throughout the home to make your stay comfy and cozy! Appreciated items for the beach and for kid play! Lots of space and options for sleeping and areas to hang out indoor and outdoor! Everyone one slept well and complimented that it was a great space! No issues and host was responsive for any questions👍 Our family enjoyed our first trip to Tampa and we would stay here again!!

This place was a home away from home. The pool was enjoyable, private, and clean as well as the space around it. It's near great restaurants, beaches, and places of interest. We came for the D1 NCAA Women's Basketball Championship and the Amelia center was 20 to 35 minutes away depending on traffic.
