Julian David is a welcoming host. There is a door code, but he still offered to have his parents meet me and make sure everything was to my liking. Nice couple. Julian made sure I had restaurants, activities, and groceries available to me and met with me when he was back in town. High quality cookware and utensils are indicative of the kind of experience that he wants his guests to have. The walls are concrete block and is one of the few places where there isn’t noise coming in from the neighbors. Gorgeous view from the balcony looking north and I watched fireworks for New Years. Bed is firm and comfortable; I liked sleeping with the balcony door open during the week. There is an A/C unit, but I don’t think you need it, and most places don’t have one. The desk space is comfortable and wi-fi worked great. Hot water is instant hot, and it is dialed in correctly. Perfect place to stay in Medellin and I would like to stay here again.

Fantastic! I had a great stay at Sandra’s place as it felt like coming home. I was on the 4th floor with direct access to the terrace that overlooks the neighborhood. Washer/dryer is a perk especially for long stays. You have everything you need in the apartment to make it home away from home. Everything is within walking distance and the metro is close by. I highly recommend Sandra’s place. Thank you, Sandra. :)
