Lindsey’s place was perfect for my visit with family in Boone. It was in a wooded area and felt like a tree house. Very convenient to town and everything we needed including a very nice bathroom with a grab bar in the shower.

A quiet retreat in the middle of busy Boone. The home has old charm and was very homey. All the mattresses on the beds were extremely comfortable. We never had a problem sleeping. Plenty of blankets were provided. The rest of the furniture was nice and thoughtful. The kitchen was well stocked with all the dishware and cooking supplies we needed. The neighborhood was set amongst the trees with a walking trail out front. We never had any problems with the neighbors. We stayed in winter and the roads were kept safe during snowy times. This home was a great place to stay during my busy seasonal job.

Great secluded cottage. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a secluded cabin within 10minutes of Boone. I hope to come back to this place one day.

Enjoyed the stay very much. Beautiful and tranquil place in the mountains. It was a little warm & humid inside the space at times, but we were notified in advance that there was no AC and im sure this wouldn't be an issue during the cooler months of the year. Was able to place the box fan near the window and cool things off considerably in the first room. Also, there are some steep inclines and sharp turns to get up to the parking spot. I didn't have a problem with this myself but it may be worth noting for more inexperienced drivers or people that may not be comfortable driving on such terrain. Would gladly stay there again.
