Place was awesome and the hot tub and sauna were an added bonus. Lots of room for parking was also very nice

Stayed in Early December of 2024 to go snowmobiling. Great spot right next the trail. Easy access and plenty of trailer parking. Can't wait to go back.

As a travel nurse in have stayed in many, many places. Without a doubt, Kari's place was pristine! Truly, I've only seen that level of cleanliness in high-end hotels. The little snacks available were perfect! The location is convenient - I bet it's beautiful in the summer! I enjoyed it so much that I've booked to stay again!

Very clean, comfortable, and exactly as described! Our family had fun in the game room and hot tub. We will definitely stay here again when we come and visit our Husky!

Such a private and relaxing location. Our last two nights we even saw the aurora over Gratiot Lake! Make sure if cloudy days are forecasted you conserve power! We had no difficulty utilizing the amenities and when we had questions Rebecca was responsive and helpful! The roads in are sand/gravel so we would recomend using a vehicle with high clearance. We had a wonderful stay here!

It was the perfect fall get away. The cabin was private and cozy. I loved the loft.

Perfect location if you are using the ATV/UTV/Snowmobile trails. Nicely situated and easy access. Also, in close proximity to several UP attractions and sites.

Great spot to stay for a week of winter fun! Ride across the street to trail 3. And the ski hills are not too far! 100% worth it.

We are a local family that was in need for a place due to a fire/smoke in our home and they were very accommodating. We were even able to rent a differnt small home for a couple weeks from them for Thanksgiving. Hard to find a place that allows dogs!

A Holiday Wonderland at Woodland Haven Our family stay at Woodland Haven from November 25th through December 3rd was nothing short of magical! We celebrated both Thanksgiving and Christmas here, and the cozy cabin was the perfect setting for creating cherished holiday memories. The space was spotless, well stocked, and beautifully appointed, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. We loved gathering in the dining room for holiday meals, playing games by the fire, and soaking in the peaceful surroundings of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The snowy, wooded landscape added a picturesque charm that made our celebrations even more special. Trace was an exceptional host-responsive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay to the fullest; he even made sure the cabin was festively decorated for us. If you’re looking for the perfect place to create family memories, Woodland Haven is it. We can’t wait to return for another magical getaway!

We loved our stay at Kelly's Last Stand. It was a lovely log cabin that looked just like the pictures in a quiet spot with direct lake access. As others have noted - there are neighbors but you wouldn't know since there are trees in between properties. The fact that there were canoes and kayaks was really fun and they worked great. Got to see some bald eagles and some minks while kayaking! Amanda was a very responsive host and the welcome binder has lots of helpful local information. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Beautiful quiet remote place. We were there in early winter and got hit with a snow storm so we didn't get to explore the outside as much as we'd like, but everything that we could see what fantastic. We'd love to come back again in the summer months to take advantage of more of the amenities. The house itself was cozy, clean and welcoming. The wood burning fireplace was especially welcome with the snow flurries going on outside. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get away and experience the beautiful northern part of the UP.

The cabin has a nice "up north" feel to it and is in a great location to explore the Keweenaw.

Peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The home was clean and lots of towels! The bed was comfortable. Will stay again when in the area!!

Quiet, private, amazing location on rice lake. Watched the northern lights and sunrise from the cabin, beach and dock. Great experience!!!

The home was fantastic. Very comfortable beds and furniture. LargeTV with plenty of seating for 9 people to watch football. Flexible cooking accommodations (high end stove/oven, great grill and Blackstone flat top). The Sauna was magnificent-able to get up to 170 degrees F w/o any trouble. Everyone in my group became a sauna convert by the end of the trip. We were bird hunting in the area (Ruffed Grouse), and found the area had a lot of state land that has been very well managed. The bird numbers were high (Nov 2024), making for great memories. Hoping to stay again next fall.

Beautiful view! Peaceful environment. Impeccable attention to cleanliness and tidiness. Above and beyond efforts in providing comforts and unexpected little surprises. Couldn’t have felt more welcome, more comfortable and more at home. Breanna responded immediately to any questions. We’ve been to numerous Airbnbs, but none have been so abundantly stocked in the kitchen from spices to cooking gadgets, or with blankets, towels, first aid, etc. Though we don’t have young children, we enjoyed seeing an area dedicated for them to play in that was tastefully decorated, uncluttered and mindfully stocked with play and reading items. The rocking chair there was super comfortable. The kitchen was not short on kid friendly dinnerware. Families without young children wouldn’t be tripping over kid items or having them in constant view either. Thank you Breanna, for a wonderful place to stay! Hope to be back in warmer weather!
