Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Historic District, St. Augustine

We stayed for 2 months, and it was by far the best Airbnb we've stayed in. The house was relatively new and very clean, very nicely furnished, kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need including a coffee bar, beds were comfortable, bedding and towels were good quality, fenced in backyard with patio and outdoor furniture. The house is located in a newer community with a Community Center with pool, playground, pickleball; it was quiet, and we felt very safe during our daily walks. Located approximately 10 min. from Historic St. Augustine and 20 min. from the beach. Michaela was very responsive and would check in to see if we needed anything. We will definitely stay here again if we return to St. Augustine.

I cant say enough good things about Fred and Lynn's home away from home. I've stayed at a few locations in St Augustine, but they deserve more than 5 stars. My family enjoyed every second of their peaceful surroundings. The home was gorgeous, pool felt amazing, and hosts and fur babies were super friendly. We are definitely planning on returning now that we have found this hidden gem. Close enough to great restaurants, but so private that deer felt safe enough to lay in their yard. Fred met us as soon as we arrived with Ellie and they gave us the grand tour, checked in during our stay to make sure we were comfortable, and Lynn came out to have conversation and offered my daughter a pool float. Even making sure she had sun screen. It was the little moments like that that made this place so special!! I said several times "reminds me of grandma's house as a kid." Thank you again Fred, Lynn, Ellie, and Boo. We miss yall already!

Had a great stay at this airbnb! The place was in great condition and super clean! Lots of kitchen essentials, linens and towels. LOVED the outdoor area. We were not expecting the one bedroom and bathroom to be in a separate house, missed that when reviewing the listing, but it was honestly great to have the separate space. The hosts were so helpful and communicative. Overall would definitely recommend staying here. Perfect location for a weekend in St Augustine!

We loved everything about our stay! We were traveling with two young kids, and the house had everything we needed and more. Really appreciated the wagon and all the beach toys and extra towels, and how easy it was to walk to the beach. Julie was so responsive to questions, and you can just tell she cares about the comfort of her guests. When we come back to Crescent Beach, we will definitely stay here again!

Came for a wedding. The home was exactly as the pics showed and it was pristine inside with all the necessities including beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. Perfect location, walkable quaint little area, lots of great recommendations too. Great space, amazing host, Pauline always responded quickly and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, just needed another day or two to enjoy the town. Highly recommend.

It was perfect for our spring break with 4 kids and 2 adults. Pool was perfect. Only 15 minutes to downtown and 12 from a very nice beach. I would 1000% book there again!

We had a great time! Dani was very organized and responded quickly to any of our questions. The beach is close and is an easy walk. The heated pool was a big hit with our grandchildren. Highly recommend !

We had an amazing stay at Guy’s place in St. Augustine! The house has a beautiful pool area that we enjoyed almost every day. We were also easy driving distance to everything we could want, including all the restaurants and shops downtown and the beach. We were able to bring our dog and the neighborhood was very walkable with him, with a dog park and dog-friendly state parks accessible as well. Next time we’re in St. Augustine, we would definitely stay here again!

From a beautiful and convenient location, to the amenities, and overall feeling of being at home make this a five star stay. With Paul’s friendly spirit, I felt comfortable asking for recommendations, which he was happy to provide. The sunset view was amazing, as well as my morning dip in the pool. The guest home and surroundings were very clean. The only thing to note is the full security cameras around the home and that the guest home is attached to the main home. Neither of which were negative, but I did not know until arrival.

Heather’s home was a wonderful get-away. It was private and quiet yet close to everything including downtown St. Augustine and the beaches. The heated pool was a great amenity that my family enjoyed very much. House was very clean. Heather was very responsive and helpful. Her local recommendations were spot on. We will definitely recommend this property to anyone. Thanks for a great stay, Heather!

It was .6 miles to the beach-1km. Great beach. The pool and hot tub were perfect. The kitchen was well equipped-everything worked. We had 6 adults, 3 children and one infant and we all fit comfortably in the house. Really nice neighborhood. Lots of sitting areas. Would definitely recommend this house.

This place was the ideal size for our family of 4 + 1 small dog. Kids shared a bed. Having an extra half bath downstairs was ideal. Unloading bags from the car is convenient as the parking space is directly outside the front door. Fenced in outdoor space for the dog to relax. Not a bad walk to the beach. Overall good experience.

The Mermaid House was fabulous, perfect for a long weekend stay on St Augustine Beach. Deb's place has everything you could possibly need from toasters to televisions, hell she even has tortoises roaming around the neighborhood. The upper sun deck w/ views of the ocean above the garage is a bonus. Deb's green thumb is on display in the backyard and her artistic side shines through her stained glass pieces that are hung throughout the house. Deb couldnt have been any nicer & very prompt with replying to messages &/or returning calls. Overall the place was great, and we would totally recommend booking it, we wish we could've stayed longer. WSP

We had a great stay. The house is absolutely beautiful. Rhonda had everything you could possibly need during your stay. There are plenty of outdoor activities as well as games for a rainy day. I would definitely recommend to my friends. We are already planning our next stay.

This home was perfect for our stay. We were able to walk to the beach, it was a 15 minute drive to St. Augustine, and there were 2 parks South on route A1A that we were able to visit. The house was very comfortable and spacious enough for 4 people. We ate lunches at the table on the side deck. I would recommend taking wash clothes if you use them and chairs for the back yard. We really enjoyed watching the birds at low tide in the canal out back. Overall, a great stay!
