Incredible stay at a beautiful and immaculate home. Intentional and attention to every detail down to phone chargers, wifi, garage door opener, soap dispenser, luggage rack, fans, and thoughtful gifts. The hosts were quick to respond, welcoming, full of aloha spirit. Could not ask for a better place.

This place is everything you would want in an Airbnb. It has an amazing backyard with so many wonderfully maintained tropical plants, fruits, vegetables and flowers. The house is modern, spacious, clean & well maintained (even better than in pictures) with modern kitchen appliances, washing machine, dryer, fast wifi, fans in all all rooms and AC. Kitchen was stocked with well thought out spices, sauces, good quality bowls & cooking pans which helped greatly with food prep when away from home. This house perfectly provides the mood advertised, with birds being heard almost any time of the day and all around views of the Hawaiian wilderness. Special mention about the host Dara who was kind and warm - he took care of us as if we were his own neighbor. Would 100% recommend this to anybody staying in and around the Hilo area.

Perfect place to stay when visiting the island. Was private and had beautiful views. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. Easy driving distance to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and local restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would stay again if ever in the area.

I can’t say enough about Morris and his guest house. Morris is the king of hospitality and has planned ahead for anything you may need during your stay. You feel right at home instantly. Morris also provides all the information you could need to visit area attractions. Morris is an excellent communicator and quickly responds to messages. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Very good location between the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and Hilo. Grocery store and a few restaurants 8 minutes away. Very private and relaxing. I would stay here again.

Really lovely place. Spacious and comfortable home, with comfortable beds and a kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Older building, but very clean and nothing was in disrepair. I loved the wood walls and overall atmosphere. The common areas were very open and almost made you feel like you were outside. I was initially concerned that there’s no AC as I like it pretty cold at night, but it gets plenty cold with the windows open and the fans going. Having said that, with the windows open the frogs are pretty loud. I personally enjoyed the frogs and found the jungle sounds pleasant to drift off to sleep to (and also loved the kitchen geckos!), but if you’re not into the jungle vibe this probably isn’t the place for you. If you are, this place is fantastic. Location-wise, it’s nicely situated between Volcano and Hilo, but there is some traffic going towards Hilo on weekday mornings so just time your drive in that direction.

Gustavo was really flexible and proactive with the check-in, and offered a list of things to do in the area. Very convenient to get inside with the numpad. The door was right by the car parking space, which makes it really convenient to load/unload anything. Very spacious and clean, and felt cozy. Very nice with the AC to cool off and reduce the humidity. Was nice to have any cooking appliances I needed and a good-sized fridge, larger than you get at hotels. Bed was comfortable. Houseplants added some nice decoration. Gustavo is very friendly and helpful if you have any questions, issues, or requests. Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent host!! The photos do not do it justice, it is wider than it appears in photos and has a beautiful garden, I recommend you to set aside a time and have a breakfast there. On our visit to Big Island we will definitely return to this place.

Tulpe’s place was the perfect base for our trip to Hilo. The unit is tucked back from the road and very peaceful. We never heard noise from anyone else. The unit was clean and homey, without any clutter. The kitchen had what we needed. There are plenty of restaurants in close driving distance. We would definitely stay here again!

Great spot in the Jungle. Beautiful flowers and foliage right outside the door. Clean, comfortable and easy room. Convenient location for Volcanoes National Park as well as nearby restaurants in Volcano. Had everything we needed for our stay on that side of the Island!

Wow! Joy and Michael were such wonderful, kind, friendly hosts who went out of their way to make us feel at home. The place itself is also gorgeous and private, but there’s access to a welcoming community space as well. Michael even built it all himself, which is super impressive. 5/5 stars, one of the best airbnb experiences I’ve ever had.

This was the perfect place to stay to begin our week on the Big Island. Within walking distance of great restaurants in downtown Hilo. Larisa was there to greet us and show us the space. She also gifted us amazing avocados from the tree right outside. Loved the Coqui frogs singing us to sleep. The space was comfy and cozy. We loved the Christmas decor complete with driftwood tree. Mahalo for a wonderful stay!

My husband and I stayed for 11 nights in #501. It is a perfect spot. I drank my coffee on the screened lanai every morning. It overlooks Carlsmith Park where we spent so much time swimming, snorkeling and alot of sitting and people watching. There were turtles there every day in the cove. Hundreds of fish. Watch out for the sea urchins saw them first hand. Pool was clean used it alot. Nothing fancy but clean. Bring bug spray for the flies. They are really bad at the park and the pool area. We stayed in early May, 2024. I would stay again.

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful unit, kept up very well! New AC in the bedroom with the king bed which was wonderful! The second bedroom does stay very warm even with many fans available in the unit but we still enjoyed ourselves immensely. The host was a great communicator and very nice. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

We had a great time staying here and the view is incredible. We are sad to check out but so happy we got to stay here. Joe and Carla were awesome and always answered right away. Would definitely stay again.

We spent 3 days at Shae's place visiting the local sites including Volcano National Park. Had a great stay. Well equipped kitchen, coffee maker, beach towels, snorkel gear and comfortable bed. Everything we needed!

My husband and I had a very comfortable 5-night stay at Kalani Modern Studio. The space was clean and cozy, with a full kitchen that made our stay especially convenient. The provided coffee was a thoughtful touch, making our mornings enjoyable. We enjoyed dining on the patio with a view of the pool, and the interior grounds were maintained. The host was responsive and helpful, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience. Highly recommend!

Beautifully located next to an incredible beach and amazing view. Check in was easy and friendly and I’d def recommend this place as a comfortable location for a getaway. Loved it here!

Lovely and spacious for my 3 month stay for work. All the amenities that I needed for cooking and cleaning, communal laundry in bldg, good wifi coverage. Safe and walkable to downtown which I loved. Small amount of noise with neighbours and ants/insects which are expected to some degree being in an apt bldg, in the tropics. I would definitely stay there again:)
