Vacation rentals with a fire pit in High Springs

House was new and clean. Terry very friendly and responds quickly to any questions. House sits off the road behind trees, house number sign small so go slow and look carefully when following GPS. Peaceful setting. No neighbors unlike condo or hotel. Very close to Norh entrance of Itchetucknee Park. Be prepared to drive at least 20 minutes if you are looking for restaurant to eat at. The Pink Flamingo Diner was good. We would definitely consider staying here if we visit Itchetucknee Springs again.

I Enjoyed my stay, very homey, super organized with labels, fully furnished, the location was very peaceful no disturbance I would definitely recommend Katies Home :)

Last minute trip to visit friends that live near by loved the place loved the location restaurant down the road was amazing definitely will be booking again

We enjoyed just hanging out in the back yard with the deck and chairs…didn’t use the fire pit but everything was supplied to use it had we wanted to. Beds were super comfy and we enjoyed those extra blankets as it was colder than we were used to coming from south Florida. Instructions for the entry security were easy to follow and the porch light made the place easier to find when returning from my grandson’s play. Would definitely recommend James’s place to anyone visiting Gainesville.

Almost don’t want to rave as much as I will, so that other UF parents and visitors won’t book this up house on game weekends! Great value and we had a wonderful stay. This is one of the best values I’ve ever found on AirBnb. Thanks for the great stay!

Great Place! Super convenient. Loved hearing the sound of the river off the screened in porch and the openess of house and porch. Felt right at home with all the detail put into the home. We swam at Poe Springs and kayaked the Itch and the Sante Fe despite a cold front that blew through with daytime temps @ 60. The house was super cozy especially with a fire in the fireplace. I was ready to rebook immediately!

This is the 3rd time me and my GMA stayed at one of the air bnbs usually we stay at the big house Lamiya has but this time we stayed at the small one it is great. Lamiya the host is always so great and keeps in touch throughout your stay. All 3 times was during a hurricane

Was very nice and just what was needed for a one week training trip.

Absolutely perfect for our needs. We were greeted by Colleen upon our arrival; very gracious and pleasant lady. We met Yoke, her beautiful, friendly German shepherd; walked around the property, and felt very comfortable. My dogs were able to run and play until they tired, and passed out! If you are looking for a peaceful, solitude type of stay, this is the place for you. Lots of room, easy to find, and minutes away from local stores. The accommodations were perfect for us; very comfortable bed, plenty of storage, full kitchen, spacious living area, and a large full bathroom. Wish we could have stayed longer; will definitely return next year. Highly recommend Colleen’s get-a-way!

We needed a place to stay for the football game and the farmhouse was the perfect spot! We always thought Alachua was too far but it only took 20 minutes to drive to campus. In fact, it took our daughter longer to drive to her Gainesville apartment with traffic then to drive back to the farm! The property is beautiful and so peaceful. The farm studio is perfect for 2 people — the decor is charming and we loved the coffee bar. Comfy bed and all the comforts of home! We felt safe and the bonus was giving treats to Ruthie’s horses! Will definitely use again.

As always, our stay was perfect! The bed was comfortable, and the place was clean. We try to stay at one of Lesley's places whenever we come to Melrose!

This is my second time staying at Kellie’s place. As with the first time (scroll up for first review) everything was perfect!!!! Kellie is an amazing host! She is friendly, proactive and goes out of her way to make sure you feel at home! This place has the most comfortable, HUGE bed with very soft linen. I love having a tv in the bedroom so you can watch a movie in bed to wind down. The kitchen is well equipped and having a Keurig coffee maker and pods is so convenient. The entire place is IMMACULATE! The unit is very quiet and private. It’s also so close to many springs for summer months and a quick 20ish minutes to Lake City. Don’t hesitate booking this sweet spot when travels bring you to Branford!

I was in Gainesville for 2 nights to attend a Florida Gators football game, and this unit is just a 10-minute Uber ride from the stadium. It's brand-new and squeaky clean, well-furnished, quiet and very comfortable. Carlos & Susana were friendly and incredibly prompt in responding to my questions, and this is a perfect place for anyone in town for an athletic event.

Always welcoming and comfortable! We always enjoy our getaways here. Great communication from the host who makes you feel right at home. We're ready to re-book before we even check out. See you again soon!

Cute and cozy stay, overall so magical. Kara put so many little touches you wouldn’t think of that made the stay extra special. So much to do around the property that you’ll want to stay awhile. Kara is very communicative and so sweet. Such a beautiful place and we had such a wonderful time, can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely loved staying here in this tiny home. It was cozy and peaceful. Everything was just like it was stayed in the description. We only wished we had more time here to really enjoy the hammocks and the outdoor area. We will be back for a longer stay in the future.

The cabin and surroundings was perfect for a family get together outside around the fire pit and dock. We loved it!

It was just what I needed. Gwen was unbelievably sweet and responsive. Did yoga on the deck, sat on the dock looking at the beautiful stars. Caught up on sleep. Only complaint, which is my own fault…being the barefoot hippie I am, beware of the red ants. Bugs love my blood and they definitely loved me:)

Cute cabin with amazing outdoor spaces. Host went the extra mile and even tastefully decorated the cabin for the holidays. We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner with friends outside in the covered porch area on the giant table and spent the rest of the evening by the fire pit. Grounds are very private and peaceful. We hope to return in the spring and enjoy more of the local springs and other attractions

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! The property and decor were absolutely beautiful! The location was quiet and peaceful, just a described. Our weather was nice and cold so we got to enjoy a cozy fire at the designated area- there weee outdoor games, tables and supplies ready for us. We highly recommend this cabin for group gatherings. Our bridal parties stayed with us here to celebrate before and after our wedding - it was very accommodating for large groups and everyone commented on how comfortable they felt in the cabin. We def had the mountain “Tennessee” vibes but, right here in beautiful Florida! I would stay here again!
