Monthly Rentals in Heptonstall

This cosy little space was perfect for what I needed to retreat back to after running a workshop in Hebden Bridge. The place is compact but suited well for one person (or maybe a couple). The instructions for arrival and getting in were clear and Mark was pro active in letting me know about a major road closure which could have affected my travel, which I really appreciated. I loved the quirkiness of the place but it's not ideal if you have any physical problems as getting up and down the steep ladder to the mezzanine bed is not easy, even for me as an able bodied fit person and carrying things up (glass of water) as well was tricky. Once up there I found the bed really comfortable and slept well - it's quiet and peaceful, even though there's a main village car park to the side (this is where you park and a short walk round and up a grassy path to get to the cottage). Overall I felt it was a bit over priced but would recommend if you want a place to stay in historic Heptonstall.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Starbarn. We can’t fault it and would love to come and stay again. Very peaceful location which is perfectly placed for trips down in to Hebden. The barn itself is very cosy too 🙂 it has everything you need. We recommend the Thai food from the Cross Inn should you wish not to cook.

Stunningly beautiful property, wonderfully decorated and well stocked; we felt so at home there. The bed was very comfy, and the little selection of books and games was brilliant. Perfect location in peaceful Heptonstall, just a minute's walk from the atmospheric churchyard and ruins.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is perfect for a short or long stay. Lovely scenery, very clean and comfortable and a very soft and comfortable bed. This is a nice place to stay whatever the weather due to the scenery and thoughtful touches and facilities you have from the hosts. You can follow the river walks nearby to the local villages and you can walk from here to NT Gibson Mill etc.
