Gorgeous cabin. The woods were pristine after a stunning snowfall! The hot tub was perfect. Great weekend getaway!

House was very clean, provided lots of sleeping space, and had a great kitchen for group cooking. Really scenic location that was close to nearby trails. It was the perfect location for a larger group that included small children. Rachel got right back to me when I asked questions and I didn't have any issues between booking and departing. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time, the cabin was rustic, clean, and everything we were looking for! Karin was very proactive with communicating, and quick to respond as well!

This was a lovely cabin spot, we appreciated the various cooking utensils and pots and pans! Worked remote for 2 days here and the wifi held up pretty well for zoom meetings. Bed was comfortable, we appreciated the extra fuzzy blankets for the cold days and nights. The Rec and Yellow Lake Lodge are both less than 1 mile away, plus the lovely Amelia’s bakery and cafe is 13 mins away. The nearby fort has some great trails for snowshoeing. Shower worked well too, if it is cold out (-5 as high some of the days) make sure to bring slippers or double up on wool socks for the hardwood floors :) The fireplace was definitely needed along with the heater. The view of the lake was great and the hot tub worked well, we enjoyed our stay!

We loved our stay here! Felt really comfortable & at home the whole time. Plenty of space and room for a large group! Would definitely stay again!

Jim is an excellent host! His home is warm and cozy! He’s also very good with communication, whenever we needed something he was quick to respond! My friends and I spend most of our time in the hot tub!!! I would definitely recommend staying here at this beautiful cabin!

We had a great time overall! The cabin was very nice and cozy. The location is private and secluded. The lake is right in front of the cabin, which is great. The hot tub is a huge plus! We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back! The host was very easy to communicate with and replied quickly. Highly recommend!

Such a beautiful location and cabin! Everything you need for a comfy stay was provided. The location was very private and quiet, perfect for a girls get away.

Staying here was so peaceful in the wintertime! The home was exactly as described, easy to access and a fun getaway for our family during the wintertime. Would definitely come back again!

We loved our long weekend at this cabin! Though it was an extreme cold snap, we ventured out for short walks on the peninsula, and mostly stayed cozy inside with a fire in the wood stove all day long. No issues at all with heat or hot water in the severely cold weather. Eric was so helpful when my car wouldn't start at check-out time, accommodated my delayed departure, and talked me through using his car battery charger. This made sure our great weekend ended on a high note!

My wife and I stayed at Cabin #2 for our anniversary, and we couldn’t have been more pleased! The cabin was perfect in every way, the location was more beautiful than I expected, and Scott went above and beyond in his accommodations and communications. We would definitely go back, and we are very grateful!

We always feel so incredibly fortunate to get to stay at Brandi’s cabin on the flowage. It is a peace we look forward to enjoying a few times a year. The blue jays filled the lines and the swans kept in search of open water. It was perfection! Peaceful even amidst the hurry of the holidays. Cannot wait to return ♥️🌲

Stayed here and fished local lakes. It was as described. Easy peasy in and out. Will try to grab it again sometime for sure.

Beautiful home, great location. A few personal touches we really enjoyed were the smores fixings Tom provided, the fan in one of the bedrooms, and all of the games provided.

John’s property was perfect for my family reunion during Christmas 2024. The home was built and designed extremely well. The home had beautiful furnishings and lighting. Each bedroom had its own en-suite bathroom. The rooms were cozy and all the beds were comfortable …. Some were soft and some were a little firmer which gave everyone the opportunity to find the right bed for them. The kitchen was fantastic with a huge refrigerator and all necessary cooking utensils. The only small issue we had was that the home’s starlink internet went out because of a tripped electrical outlet… which meant no WiFi for one of the days. With that said, they fixed it early the next day. Overall it was a fantastic time and we would not hesitate to stay there again. Thank you for a great time!

My family had a lovely experience at Kyle and Lois's cabin. It was cozy and we cross country skied right from the door, but it was also a very short drive into town, which was really convenient. It was exactly what we were hoping for and we would highly recommend!

Had a wonderful stay for a weekend of board games with friends. Enjoyed walking the property, meeting the horses and the friendly dogs from a nearby home. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay

This house exceeded our expectations. It was spacious and comfortable, and the sauna was a bonus. The house was very tidy, beds and furniture were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It is only a short drive from the Birkie trailhead and is perfectly situated for Nordic skiing. We had a great time and would love to visit again.

This place was absolutely beautiful!!! It was so clean and cozy! Had gorgeous views and the house itself was well decorated with lots of tiny little touches that made me feel like I was at home. It made me feel like Laura and Jason designed this home for me!

Great private location. Josh was very responsive and pleasant. House was extremely clean and had basic necessities. Loved being able to bring my pet along with me on my trip.
