Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Sawyer County

Kyle’s place was perfect for what we needed. It was less expensive than staying at a hotel and offered us a lot more room, great yard for our dog and close proximity to town. Beds were also comfortable which is a huge plus. I only wish I was able to go for a walk directly from the house, but since it is on a busy highway, I didn’t feel safe to walk until I got closer to town. That of course is no fault of Kyle’s. Not a deal breaker by any means. Was a great place to stay.

Stayed last weekend. The place was great for our family, large living spaces and bedrooms. Location good as well. Nice outside area too. Will definitely stay here again when in Hayward.

Our family had an amazing time at Rustic Pine! Ally was wonderful and so informative. The location was peaceful, beautiful, and full of beautiful nature. We will be back! If you are looking for a place to bring family together, this is your place.

The farmhouse was beautiful, exactly as shown in the pictures. We had a wonderful time. There were 6 adults, we came to ride the ATV trails and the house was perfect. We had room for our trucks and trailers. The trail access was nearby. We had plenty of room in the house and enjoyed the table for sharing meals and playing cards. We really appreciated the very dry firewood for a bonfire. We had a hiccup with the washer (probably operator error) and Jeff immediately came over to troubleshoot for us. We also met Ron and Bonnie, wonderful hosts. I definitely give this place a 5-star rating for what we were wanting in our stay and atv trip.

We have absolute plans to come back! Everyone was accommodated with the sleeping arrangements. We made all of our meals there and had everything we needed. Host were responsive and flexible. Large TVs everywhere. One note, there is stairs to the upper unit. Not a problem for us at all. Ample parking

My family had a lovely stay at this home, the house is just beautiful! It's inviting, spacious, and stocked thoughtfully with anything you will need. The location is perfect- right on the water with a great view and easy access to trails; there is also a boat launch right around the corner. The kiddo loved the outdoor toys - especially the trampoline! The deck on the back is an amazing place to relax and take in the scenery and atmosphere. This is the perfect place for a family getaway!

Todd’s place was fantastic. It was clean, well appointed and as described. We stayed there to do some skiing at Cable (cxc races), and everything was great. We would certainly stay here again.

The cabin is quaint and peaceful. The river views are amazing. There is a cute bar/restaurant with great food and drinks. The owners are nice and very helpful. Definitely won’t be disappointed staying at the resort.

Loved this place! Everything is new and spotless!! We rented the Whole Primary Unit, meaning 2 bedrooms and a middle living room, dining area & kitchen. There is also a very large closet/small room with a desk if someone needed privacy to work. The en suite bedrooms are on either side of the living room, so they are very private. The locals who come to play pickleball & yoga, are very quiet and we never heard them in the hallway. We did peak in to check out those spaces and saw the pickle courts in action. In the common area of the building, there is a restroom and a cabinet loaded with games, adult books & children's books. We had a special request come up while we were there and Erin was immediately on top of it for us! We really enjoyed our time here and would be happy to return!

Little Sisu was the perfect place to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. It was quiet, clean, well furnished, comfortable bed, nice bathroom/shower, and the kitchen is well stocked. We took walks and enjoyed Wisconsin’s trees/woods. We enjoyed all the white walls, ceilings, cupboards, the Nordic touch, and the great views of the lake - even in the winter. We look forward to coming again in the summer.

The place is beautiful for sure. Lot to do and a easy drive into town. (15 minutes) The bars near by have good food! Very nice interior, we went during the winter, but I bet spring or summer if the perfect time to be there. I think it was a perfect size for 2-3 people, but more than that may get a little crowded in the winter months. Loveseat/couch was comfortable and fit both my husband and I comfortably. Not a lot of other seating since it's a small area. Downfalls: Not as private as it looked in the pictures or sounded in the description. The neighbors house was closer than I would have liked personally. Water is extremely hard, so bring drinking water and if ur blonde don't wash ur hair unless you have a special shampoo. My nails were orange the day I left from the water. The beds are very firm. Overall the downfalls were minor in my opinion, I would book it again. Lovely cottage, nicely updated and super-clean! We loved the east-facing deck overlooking the lake - the sunrises (and moon-rises) were beautiful during our stay, and the large private lot surrounded by trees offered lots of space for us to walk our dogs. The cottage was very well-equipped for our 10-day stay, and it's an easy drive into town for groceries, restaurants, and shopping. Gregg, our host, was wonderful to deal with and very responsive. We will definitely book again next time we vacation in Hayward!

Home was very clean and well kept. The location was absolutely beautiful! It was a very nice and quiet family getaway! Our son loved the outdoor playground and playing outside. We loved sitting it the sunroom area and watching the river.

We had a great time celebrating my parent’s anniversary. The space was large enough to have a place to get away for peace and quiet as well as all be together. I appreciated the responsiveness of our hosts!

It was a great place to stay while riding our side by sides. The house was clean and up to date, the outside areas were nice as well. We don't have any complaints at all. The only small negative I would mention is that the hot tub was due for a water change. Having our own hot tub at home for the last 15 years probably makes us a little pickier on this issue. I'm sure it gets a lot of use, and it wasn't much of an issue. We had plenty of other things to do, like sit around the fire pit, which was great. We played ping pong in the garage also. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to others. If you like a smaller, private place, this is the place for you. We would rent this one again.
