We had the best stay at Catriona’s place. A lovely clean and homely cottage in a beautiful setting. The house was super cosy and warm and the perfect place to relax. Will definitely stay here again!

What a wonderful week! I went to Culkein/Assynt for the express purpose of getting away from the overwhelming excesses of London life, and I succeeded, thanks in no small part to Karen and Iain’s pod. The pod is beautifully situated with an uninterrupted view of the coast, waves breaking over rocks, fields of sheep. The place is easy to locate, and Karen was proactive in providing easy-to-follow directions. The pod itself has everything you’d want or need and is extremely comfortable. Culkein is a great location if you’re looking to hike nearby Suilven, go on walks or just relax on the deck and stare out to the sea. I have nothing but high recommendations based on my experience, and I have every intention of returning to the region - it’s stunning.
