Monthly Rentals in Handa, Scotland

It was such an amazing experience to stay at Claire’s. The location is pretty remote (which is what we wanted), but can easily access nearby towns. We could see stars clearly at night. The bothy is comfortable and we got all the rest we needed. Claire too is very responsive. And her instructions are very clear too. Would totally recommend!

What a wonderful week! I went to Culkein/Assynt for the express purpose of getting away from the overwhelming excesses of London life, and I succeeded, thanks in no small part to Karen and Iain’s pod. The pod is beautifully situated with an uninterrupted view of the coast, waves breaking over rocks, fields of sheep. The place is easy to locate, and Karen was proactive in providing easy-to-follow directions. The pod itself has everything you’d want or need and is extremely comfortable. Culkein is a great location if you’re looking to hike nearby Suilven, go on walks or just relax on the deck and stare out to the sea. I have nothing but high recommendations based on my experience, and I have every intention of returning to the region - it’s stunning.
