The space
A great value for the south PV area, very spacious and beautifully decorated! Enjoy the rooftop terrace with pool and stunning views of the ocean and jungle-covered mountainsides. Relax with a book, coffee on the terrace or some Netflix. Catch up on news and gossip with WiFi Internet. Cook up some killer camarones in our completely complemented kitchen! (You just supply the food...) And, cool down at night with our air-conditioned bedrooms. It's your vacation - It's all there for your choosing!

Each of the two bedrooms features an en-suite bathroom and A/C (only the bedrooms have A/C units). Our home has an open floor plan, comfortable furniture, art, and gorgeous views of nature to help you relax and enjoy your stay.

The kitchen is fully-equipped with flatware, dishes, glasses, storage containers, pots, pans, and appliances to support whatever culinary adventures you have in mind. The utility room is also nicely-appointed with full-sized washer and dryer, ironing board, mop, broom, etc., as well as an initial supply of cleaning products (for longer stays, you will need to restock these if you need more). The third bathroom is also attached to the utility room.

A note about our second bedroom: the description shows 2 single beds, however, these can be made into 1 king-size bed upon request.

The building is just 6 homes, one per floor.
We are also sometimes asked about whether the pool is private; as described in the listing, it is shared. However, with only 6 homes, it really is not very busy at the pool and terrace. We like to call it "semi-private", as there is a very good chance you may never see anyone else there!

Other things to note
Mismaloya is not PV - it is south along the coast, about 15 mins from the southern-most PV neighborhood (Old Town).

Neighborhood highlights

Mismaloya is a small Mexican town with cobblestone streets, abarrotes, tiendas - tucked away in the jungle. At the public beach (Playa Mismaloya), which is just to the left of the Barceló Resort and can be reached after a 1/2-mile (800m) walk, there are restaurants, vendor stalls, and boats-for-hire. The boats will take you out to Los Arcos for snorkeling and swimming, or pretty much anywhere along the coast. This is also one option for transportation to locations further south beyond the reach of the highway, such as Playa Animás or Yelapa.

One of the best beaches nearby, though, is Playas las Gemelas, which is about 5 mins by auto back north on the highway. It is a bit quieter, doesn't have restaurants, vendors, etc. like Mismaloya, but also can be more enjoyable because of that. The best way to access it is through the restaurant at the Condos Girasol Sur. The way down is much safer than the public access stairs, and you can enjoy the refreshments at the restaurant. They will also let you out and back in their private access to the beach, letting you enjoy the surf and sand, while having access to a shower and restroom (not to mention, more refreshments).

Other activities in the area include the Vallarta Zoo, a water park (Albercas Ecologicas en la montaña, meaning "ecological pools at the mountain"), and the El Eden eco-park, canopy tour, and Predator movie set.

South of Boca de Tomatlán on the highway, you can find the Vallarta Botanical Gardens; Boca has many attractions itself, including beaches, restaurants, snorkeling/diving, and boats-for-hire.
