If all you need is a bed and a bathroom & hot tub, Roxie is the cabin for you! A comfortable full-size bed, composting toilet, a mini fridge & woodstove and electric heater are here for you in this cozy 8x12 cabin in the woods. 2wd access & a parking spot near your door. Hike trails, kayak, fishing, cross-country skiing, or snowshoeing then return to your little space to relax & enjoy!

The space
This Tiny Cabin sits on 100 acres of land where you are free to roam. There are trails to hike, kayaks, or a canoe for your use. Life vests and paddles are provided. During winter months we have snowshoes, cc skis, and ice-fishing gear available for guests.

*A shared bathroom/shower in our office building is available 24 hrs a day for your use.

A portable electric burner, a propane grill, and an outdoor firepit can all be used for cooking. A 2.5 gal jug of fresh drinking water is provided. There is "tiny" split, dry firewood for the woodstove and a bundle of wood provided for the fire pit outside.
Kitchen supplies include:
Cast iron pan, pot and pot holder
Coffee press and mugs
Electric kettle
2 Plates/Bowls/Silverware sets
Spatula/Tongs/Can and Wine bottle openers
Small cutting board.
Foldable sink and dish towels

Outside adventures:
The water is a 1-2 minute walk from the cabin.

Reflective markers have been placed on the water trail and headlamps are provided for a night hike to the dock!

The "Pub" area has been cleared and includes a chimenea fireplace, full-size hammock, and teak bar with games! Pack a beverage and hike to the pub for a game of cribbage and a great view with your favorite person! This quick hike has a path lit with solar jar lights for nighttime adventures.

The Dock area includes 2 kayaks, 2 paddleboards, 2 canoes, and 1 Yakboard all available for your use. (lifevests and paddles are stored at the dock). There is also a fire pit and chairs.

Axe Throwing! We have built an Axe Target! Take a short hike and find everything you need for a game!

Hike the Yellow Trail to the Pizzeria! At a clearing on the trail, there is a woodfired pizza oven!

**This is a new property and we are working on some exciting activities to offer guests. 2025 will be a work in progress - enjoy a discounted rate as we are putting things together! We are looking for feedback from our guests! If you have ideas or suggestions, we want to know!


Cell phone service works throughout almost all of the property (works at the cabin). Wifi access is available at the office.

There is a small apartment above the office and those guests use the area behind the office.

The parking/office area is a work in progress - please excuse our mess as we work to make it beautiful!

We have placed temporary signs to help guide you around the property.

We don’t recommend attempting to cook elaborate meals in the cabin. The $40 cleaning fee covers 2 loads of laundry, making the bed, general housekeeping and hot tub maintenance. Clean up is difficult, if you like to cook, please keep it simple:).

Neighborhood highlights

Roxie is located at the start of 100 acres of land on the Whitefield / Windsor town line. It is fully remote from the other cabin and near enough to drive to in your 2wd. The cabin is located in the woods, but sometimes you can still hear the road noises.

Givens pond can be accessed by a short walk through a path in the woods.

There are two trails that are lit for night-time exploring. One by reflectors and the other by solar lights.

There are special areas in the woods:
"The Pub" is lit with solar lights where you can have a fire, play a game of cards and relax in a hammock.
"The Pizzeria" is a woodfired pizza oven and table for two.
"The Dock" is where the canoes, kayaks and paddleboards are stored as well as life jackets, and paddles. There is also a fire pit in this area.


There are two cabins on the property - if you would like to book them at the same time, send an inquiry and we can help you find dates when they are both available.

* 2023 construction projects are happening in the parking area when you first pull into the land. These activities should not impact your stay, please let us know if there are any issues!.
