Lakefront Log Cabin escape-boats-fishing-hot tub

NicholaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Just returned from the most fantastic 2 weeks exploring the US which included a weeks stay at Kiwi Lodge. Where to start? This was exactly as described and the perfect base for exploring Maine. The property was spotless and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. 3 beautiful bedrooms, 2 great sized bathrooms, wonderful living area and kitchen and fantastic games room. Hot tub was brilliant. The location on the lake is just perfect, we had the lake to ourselves and took the canoe out. Nearest town of Farmington has all the shops and cafes you’d need. The communication from Kay was great from the day we booked, and recommendations we took her up on were all absolutely spot on. Thank you Kay and thank you Kiwi Lodge for a holiday to remember!

Two China lakefront cottages, hot tub & dock

ScottRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had the best time! The two separate cottages provided were fantastic. Well appointed with a nice country vibe. Never turned on the TV. Just played cards, ate and talked. Very relaxing. We brought our boat and it was so convenient to tie up at Josée’s dock. The fishing was great too! I highly recommend.

Stella the Studio Apartment

JeremyRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Stella was fantastic! Exactly what we needed for a night away. the hot tub was clean, the trails were fun to explore, cooked over an open fire (the firewood was so dry, which was impressive considering how wet it's been!). Only thing I would recommend is something covering the end of the bed, we stubbed our toes pretty good on the wood frame. Outside of that, no complaints at all. Definitely plan to come back!

Charming 2 bedroom cabin on Clearwater lake

ThomasRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Beautiful spacious yet cozy lakeside cabin, so close to the lake that you just see water from most of the inside of the camp. This cabin has history and the open knotty pine ceiling, walls and floors lend a great deal of warmth to the place, while numerous modern updates/amenities have been added (new/modern bathroom, appliances and deck). We have stayed at many Airbnbs and have never seen one stocked as well as this one - virtually anything a person could want or need was provided: the kitchen had everything you could need and more, supplies, fans, heaters, tools, numerous indoor and outdoor games, kayaks, floats, a standup paddleboard and a plethora of chairs inside and out (including several pieces of antique furniture, further adding to the warmth of the camp). There was even a tree swing and an outdoor fire setup for smores. Our dog loved it as much as we did! Add the loons, eagles, ospreys, sunrises and general beauty of this Maine lake and this is a wonderful place to stay.

Nice quaint cabin, plenty of room to eat out on the deck, enjoy the firepit, the dock, the kayaks. Tiki torches were neat. Host's directions really helped us get across that tiny bridge. Our dog enjoyed the property as well, lots of squirrels to chase.

Cozy Lakefront Retreat

EmilyRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We stayed here for a few days for a peaceful getaway trip. The location was beautiful and the area was very quiet! Both of the hosts were very nice and responsive to any questions we had. Everything was stocked in terms of kitchen supplies, linens, paper goods, etc. so we didn’t have much extra we needed to get which was so helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Rustic & Cozy Cabin – on beautiful Salmon Lake

AbbyRating, 5 stars47 months ago
Cabin was amazing. Classic Maine camp but very clean, well stocked, and cared for. Our boys 8 and 6 enjoyed the grassy area by the house as well as the 7 different species of fish we caught. It was a cooler weekend with some rain so the touch of modern(cable tv and gas fire) were very appreciated! Chad had everything available that you could possibly need including wood for the campfire. My family can’t wait for our next fishing weekend!

River Run Rustic Cabin- Dale

BlairRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Jennifer was a very responsive, helpful host. The place was exactly as described. There were some mouse droppings as others have stated, but you’re in the middle of the woods; of course there are! Didn’t bother us one bit, we cleaned it up and had a great time. Super secluded and a beautiful view of the river. The outhouse was surprisingly well kept too. Would recommend to anyone looking to spend a weekend in nature with no distractions.

The Nubble. Private Island-like Camp

PamelaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
I can’t say enough about this place…the online photos do NOT do it justice! The location is super private, yet not isolated. Having the water on 3 sides, just steps from the door was so calming and beautiful. The decor and furnishings are comfortable, new, and tasteful, with touches of vintage mixed in. The non-potable water, outdoor shower, and composting toilet took a bit of adjustment but after one day I had a routine…we spent almost all of our time outdoors and I think my dog never fully dried out the entire 2 weeks of our stay! Lily was quick to respond with any concerns/questions and I felt very respected. I’ve already booked for next year…
