The space
🛶Kayaks and a paddleboat are available for rent at the house (life jackets included). Boats and other motorized equipment can be rented nearby and delivered directly to the house. Details will be provided in your welcome message after booking. You must be checked in and present for any deliveries. Don’t forget your life jackets if renting equipment offsite. The boat dock is available at no extra cost, and lake access for boats is a quick 2–5-minute drive.
Please ensure all equipment is securely stored when not in use.
🏡 The entire house, including a fully stocked kitchen, is available for your use. The kitchen includes dishes, cookware, salt, pepper, and oil. Outdoor dining seats six, and indoor dining seats eight.
🖇 For your convenience, 3 of the bedrooms have work desks that can be easily moved or stored away.
⛱Please bring your own beach chairs and blankets (not provided). Enjoy the enclosed porch, which offers comfortable seating, with stunning views and breathtaking sunsets.

Within a 5-minute drive, you'll find local stores, a tavern, public beaches, a playground, ice cream shops, and a coffee shop. Hannaford grocery store and Long Lake are 10 minutes away. Many hiking trails, ski resorts, tubing spots, lakes, and restaurants are within 10–45 minutes. North Conway is a 45-minute drive, and Portland is 1 hour away.

Feel free to use any leftover firewood, but please bring your own for the fireplace and outdoor fire pit.
👶The house is not fully childproof and is not fenced in. However, it includes a high chair, crib, playpen, toddler utensils, a step stool, and toys. We’re happy to accommodate requests for additional kid-related items. If you’d like to leave any of your purchased items behind for future guests- we will reimburse you.
🍗Propane is provided for the grill. If it runs out, it can be refilled at Walmart or Hannaford, and you’ll be reimbursed.
⚠️Please remember to shut off the propane after each use!
🐕🦺Dogs are welcome but must remain leashed outdoors unless swimming, regardless of their off-leash training. Please ensure they do not wander or swim onto neighbors' property. Clean up after them and dispose of waste in the trash. Prevent digging in the yard or on the beach. Before bringing dogs inside or onto furniture, ensure they are fully dried and cleaned.
🚫The garage is not accessible to guests.
📢Harrison, ME, has a noise ordinance. Please keep noise on the lake to a minimum after 10 p.m., as sound carries and amplifies. This is a peaceful, nature-focused retreat, not suitable for loud parties.
🐻 Do not feed the wildlife or leave food outside overnight.

Two bedrooms and the bathroom without a tub are located off the room with the bunk beds. Each bedroom and bathroom has its own door. The room with the bunk beds also has its own entry door, creating a small suite area that includes the two bedrooms and their shared bathroom.
