Our cosy Townhouse is situated in the centre of the delightful market & canal town of Stone, and within a few minutes walk of the train station. You'll love staying here for it's beautiful walks from the doorstep, either along the canal or into the adjoining countryside at the Downs Banks. Stone is perfect for leisure and business trips alike, the High Street has a reputation for excellent food & drink, with regular farmers markets and an abundance of bars and restaurants to choose from.

The space
The house is a 2 bedroom terrace consisting of; an open plan lounge/dining room, galley kitchen, utility area and downstairs bathroom with shower over bath. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one double and one twin room.
There is a pretty rear garden which is fully enclosed. It has a paved patio area perfect for alfresco dining.

Stone and the surrounding area hosts a number of wedding venues and our home provides a perfect place to stay if hotels aren't your thing. There is a supermarket located within easy walking distance and also a Marks & Spencer food hall. There are some lovely country walks on hand with the nearby downs banks, a little wilderness of woodland and heath only a 5 minute car ride away.

We've been lucky enough to have stayed in some fantastic self catering accommodation both at home and abroad. In November 2018, armed with enthusiasm and a good sense of humour my wife Lou and I purchased an 1870, 2 bedroom terraced house in Stone, Staffordshire.
