A warm welcome awaits you at St. Giles, situated on Wainwright’s Coast to Coast route (C2C) stunning views over the River Swale and beyond. We are an established B&B business and cater for short and long stays.
We are ideally situated to break your journey N/S or to stay in beautiful North Yorkshire, with plenty of private off the road parking
Relaxed atmosphere, owners have a lifetime of local knowledge.
The breakfast is served in the dining room farmhouse style. Full English Available
The space
St. Giles Farm is a working farm, in a relaxing and peaceful location with stunning views and plenty of parking, close to all travel links and amenities.
The mature garden with pond is a peaceful place to relax and enjoy a fresh cuppa and slice of homemade cake, especially enjoyable if you have walked/cycled from Reeth, and before you make your way upstairs for that long soak in a hot bath!
Each room is ensuite with Bath or shower facilities. We offer 2 double rooms and 2 Twin room and camping facilities on request. The larger double room has an additional single bed suitable for a family room if needed.
The breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the garden in farmhouse style, where locally sourced food is prepared with care and you can enjoy our fresh free range eggs.
Facilities: Drying area, wet walking boots guaranteed to be dry by morning! walking/ cycling friendly with secure bike lock up, bike wash. We have plenty of outdoor seating for you to enjoy the wonderful views and peaceful countryside.
Free wifi, TV, quality bathroom products for you to use, luxurious bed linen and towels with tea and coffee making facilities in all rooms.
The guests are not all walkers! We cater for short & long breaks, business travel and many guests stay when travelling north/ south.
We do accept dogs however not in the bedrooms, dogs are very welcome to stay in our Utility room, directly under one of the guest bedrooms, this works very well.
Travelling by car: St Giles Farm is situated a mile down the lane off the A6136 Catterick Garrison Road, Junction 52 off A1.
It is a great place to stop off when travelling North/South or visiting Richmond, Catterick Garrison, Yorkshire Dales, Wensleydale, Swaledale areas.
A very relaxed atmosphere here at St Giles and we do try to meet your every need. You are assured of a warm welcome from Simon and family and his Labrador Henry and cocker spaniel Sox.

Neighborhood highlights
We are privately located down a 1mile farm road, with 3 other property’s here too, my family live next door. We are close proximity to all amenities just off the A1 junction 52. We are in a rural setting with a public footpath (C2C walk) in the front field leading to Richmond to the west or Danby Wiske/ Ingleby Cross to the east. There are plenty of secure parking spaces too.
