Nestled in the heart of Southern Maryland, our peaceful family-owned retreat sits on 13 private acres beside our 34-acre nonprofit horse sanctuary. Perfect for couples, families, professionals, or small groups, the home offers 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, an eat-in kitchen, spacious living areas, a private deck, and a gas grill. Enjoy the quiet countryside while staying close to parks, dining, shopping, and local attractions.

The space
This spacious two-story home is designed for comfort, relaxation, and gathering together. The home features four bedrooms, including two queen rooms and two full-size rooms, with two additional twin beds available upon request. Guests will enjoy two full bathrooms, a large living room with a dedicated game and kids’ activity area, a workspace with a desk, and a cozy reading nook. The home also includes a private sitting room, a fully equipped eat-in kitchen, and a private deck with seating and a gas BBQ grill. Outside, explore the peaceful stream and nature area or enjoy outdoor games like croquet and cornhole during your stay.

For the safety of our property and neighborhood, we accept reservations only from Airbnb guests with a history of successful stays and positive reviews from previous hosts. If you are new to Airbnb and have no prior stays or reviews, we are unable to accommodate your reservation at this time.

Guest access
Guests will enjoy full private access to the entire main house, along with three designated parking spaces suitable for passenger vehicles, SUVs, or pickup trucks. Additional outdoor and garage parking may be available for an added fee. During your stay, feel free to explore and enjoy the surrounding outdoor areas, including the peaceful nature spaces on the property. The grounds may also be reserved for private gatherings or special events for an additional charge.

Other things to note
For the safety and security of all guests, valid identification (current driver’s license or passport) is required before arrival and can be securely submitted through Messages. Guests are welcome to enjoy the property’s outdoor games and activities, including cornhole, croquet, and open green spaces perfect for relaxing and exploring. Our spacious outdoor fields may also be reserved for reunions, parties, weddings, or other special events for an additional fee. If you have questions about accommodations, local activities, or special requests, please feel free to reach out after booking. Please note that the bathrooms are not ADA accessible, as each shower/tub requires stepping up into the unit.

By day, I work full-time in Information Technology, and outside of work I help run a nonprofit horse sanctuary in Southern Maryland. Our farm is home to more than 50 rescued animals, and much of my time is spent caring for them, fundraising, and maintaining our properties. I’m also a proud sports mom who loves traveling to watch my daughter play Division III collegiate lacrosse. Hosting guests allows me to share a little of the peaceful farm life we’ve created here.
