Historic treasure in downtown Florence, perfect for weddings and family visits. 1 mi from the winery. 1/2 hour from Ren Faire. Large, light, and comfortable.

Note (again): because of prior damage to furniture and plants, we can no longer host kids between 2 and 12. I hate doing this, but it's become necessary.

Pets on approval ONLY. Note: I live right next door, so if you bring a pet, I will know. Please do not sneak them in. We're very flexible, but we need to know who you are bringing.

The Rowhouse 25 "suite" is the larger half of a 2800 sf duplex that sits on an entire city block in downtown Florence. Suite A is 1600 sf and I live next door in the smaller suite (B). Each suite has its own entrance and back yard, with a fence and gate between the two yards, so you will have plenty of space and privacy, and I won't bother you unless you want to be bothered.

The Rowhouse is perfect for couples, reunions, and wedding parties and is equipped with a full kitchen, including pots & pans, seasonings, coffee and half and half. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, soaking tub, shampoo & body wash. Living room has a smart tv you can use to connect to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, or any other apps you might use. Bedrooms have queen-size, memory foam beds, extra blankets & pillows. Your back yard has outside seating for 12, a lovely cactus garden, patio lighting & a grill.

Neighborhood highlights

Florence is a very cool little town. Safest town in Arizona(!), quaint, walkable. Restaurants (new ones opening all the time), shops (the hardware store is amazing), and a great dog park six blocks away. And the winery! Thursday and Saturday nights especially, with music and food trucks and really good wine.

I'm a writer who until recently divided my time between Missoula, Montana and San Francisco. Arizona is new to me, but so far I love it. I travel as much as I can and have spent a lot of time overseas. I've lived in Hong Kong, Saigon and a very small village in the middle hills of Nepal. I once taught at a traveling high school with a bunch of whitewater kayakers and went through several massive rapids on the Zambezi River upside down. My sister Terese and I bought this amazing place in early 2020 and are so happy to be able to share it with travelers. I live in the other half of the duplex, in Suite B.
