Welcome to Rockhofer Haus Mesa. Centrally located in a quiet family friendly neighborhood, quick access to US 60. Come relax with your family and friends. Enjoy the pool! If you need to work, comfortable desk set up to make it easy to do so.

The space
Six people will sleep comfortably; each bedroom has a queen size bed. There is floor space in all 3 bedrooms so if additional sleeping arrangements are needed, feel free to bring air mattresses. The first spare room has an office desk with a monitor, space for kiddos to play, and a queen size bed (it is a large room). Extra Guest Fee per night, after 6 guest, $74 per guest. The living room, master bedroom and both spare bedrooms all have T.V.s with their own firesticks and remotes. Children are welcome. Please note that there is not a fence around the pool so children must be supervised at all times. You are welcome to bring your kiddos but please do so only if you know you will be able to fully supervise them and keep them safe. We do have some children's books, movies, games (adult and children), and toys :). The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, cups, plates, pots/pans and bowls. You will find a coffee pot, toaster, and microwave on the kitchen counter. There is a high chair (2), PaknPlay (2), changing pad, and monitor on your request, if that is needed for a little :). Cleaning supplies are under the kitchen sink and in the laundry room off the kitchen area. A few little quirky things: The light switch in the back bedroom does not turn on anything in the room...I know!! Weird! It's a mystery and we do plan on getting an electrician in to figure it all out but for now you will need to manually turn on the lights in that room.

We're happy to offer a Sensory Support Box designed for families traveling with children who may benefit from sensory-friendly items, including those with autism (ASD), ADHD, or sensory integration needs. This special amenity includes items such as a weighted throw blanket, body socks, stretch bands, yoga pose cards, and visual schedule cards to help support routine and relaxation. If this would be helpful for your stay, just let us know in advance and we we'll have it ready for your arrival.

Guest access
Entry is by a keypad at the front door. The day before and the morning of your stay I will be sending you information and your own personal PIN for the front door.
You will have access to the whole house, the garage and the backyard pool.

Additionally, there is NO fence around our pool and it is NOT heated. For all you out of towners, yes, we have during the summer extremely hot days and wonderful warm nights. Winter time is very different.

Because of the extreme heat over the years our pool deck and pool bottom has taken a beating (20+ years old). We are in the process of getting bids for new decking and Pebble Tech pool bottom, along with other upgrades.

Cleaning Fee per stay $227

Extra Cleaning Fee (above the normal use of our home) $175

Short Term Cleaning Fee per stay (2 night Min) $185

Pet Fee per stay (1 pet max) $150

Extra Guest Fee per night after 6 guest $74 per guest, per night.

Neighborhood highlights

The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. While the back yard is against the main road Val Vista, you don't really hear the road noise, especially when in the house. Neighbors are friendly and watch out for each other. Val Vista is an easy thorough fair for stores, restaurants, gas stations and US 60 (Superstition Fwy).
