Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.
You will be close to everything in Charlotte when you stay at this centrally-located home. Our place is a comfy, boho style. We think you will love the energy of the space and the functionality. This home will work well for families and other small groups.

The space
This boho style small home has plants, art and a vibe we love! With three bedrooms, one bath, kitchen and living room there is plenty of space for families, couples and small groups. There is also a cute front yard with driveway for off street parking. We have paid attention to the details and included some of our favorite things in the space for you.

In addition to kitchen essentials this room also has a dining space for six and many new upgrades we have made in outfitting the space for Airbnb life in March of 2023. There is a new washer and dryer set, new range and oven, new sink and faucet and new butcher block counters. We have a fun eclectic set of vintage dishes, glasses and funky mugs we have collected. Also new in the kitchen are a set of eco-friendly, non stick pots and pans, a microwave, Ninja blender and food processor, toaster, drip coffee maker, French press, utensils, knives, basics like can opener, pizza cutter, potholder, kitchen towels, wine opener, measuring tools, cutting board, etc and a set of bamboo dishes for kids or anyone! There are basic cleaning products here including broom, laundry pods, dish cloths and scrubbers, dish and hand soap, both eco-friendly, and doTERRA On Guard multipurpose cleaner.

The living room has lots of comfy seating, board games, essential oil diffuser, lamp, vacuum, plants, reading material and more.

The bathroom has plenty of towels, hair dryer and eco-friendly bath products.

The king bedroom has a beautiful, warm but lightweight quilt, bedside tables with USB outlets available, an iron and ironing board in the closet, extra blanket, mirror and chest of drawers.

The queen bedroom has another sweet quilt, mirror, a desk and chair, chest of drawers and extra blanket in the closet.

The bunk bed room has two twin mattresses, toys and books, a mirror, drawers and storage in the closet, pack and play crib with sheets and a child's booster high chair with tray store here.

All mattresses are new in March 2023.

There is a Nest thermostat for easy temperature control for the home.

The backyard has green space and is a place we will be updating for your future stays :)

Guest access
You will have access to the entire home and yard spaces, except the owner's closet in the hallway, the attic, the shed in the backyard and a storage space under the house.

Neighborhood highlights

We love Oakhurst neighborhood in Charlotte and lived in the neighborhood ourselves in our first home. From Airbnb house it is a 10-15 minute walk or short drive to some of our favorite spots like Common Market and Nightswim Coffee. The Coliseum and Ovens Auditorium are a 4 minute drive or 20 minute walk.

The entrance to our street from Monroe Road is beside a less pretty strip mall and a business that is changing hands, but we know a couple of the owners and feel great about the location for our Airbnb. If you enter from Monroe Road onto our street, you will go over a couple of speed bumps and then enter the cute neighborhood! You can also enter the neighborhood from Commonwealth Ave to get a feel for the neighborhood as a whole.
