Our two bedroom, self contained safari tent accommodates 4 guests, located in a woodland setting on beautiful May Hill. The tent enjoys an expansive view over the Severn vale towards the Cotswolds. Our site is a short walk from the summit of May Hill and backs onto extensive ancient woodlands, providing a unique, tranquil, and secluded woodland retreat close to the Forest of Dean and Wye valley.

The space
The space includes a king size bed and two singles, self contained kitchenette (fully equipped with fridge, kettle and cold running water), sofa and table and chairs as well as several outdoor seating areas and a fire pit available for guests.

There is an outdoor amenities area consisting of a dry composting toilet cabin and gas hot water shower cabin 15m from the tent exclusive to the tent.

The tent is located in a very private setting, within the grounds of the an old, eighteenth century stone farmhouse on Folly lane, May Hill. It is nestled in woodland but enjoys expansive views over an idyllic countryside setting of fields and woodlands across Gloucester and the Cotswolds beyond. It is a quiet and secluded setting, but the neighbours enjoy the tranquillity too so noisy parties are not suited to this site! It is also a rural location, so guests may experience the noise of farm machinery from the neighbouring property during the day.
