Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Maybelle is an 8x18 cabin with a full-size loft bed, a Cubic Mini Woodstove (wood provided), Natures Head Composting Toilet and Jetsetter massaging hot tub. Kayaks, paddle board, & canoe included . Hiking trails (some solar lit) surround your cabin. Outside is a fire pit and a quick path to the water. Maybelle's kitchen has all the cooking essentials and there's a small propane grill outside & the fire pit for cooking.
Cell reception is okay in the cabin, wifi is from a Starlink booster!

The space
The cabin is tiny but has everything you need for a relaxing getaway! Comfortable full-size mattress in the loft, clean, simple-to-use composting toilet inside the cabin, kitchen supplies, solar power for charging and lights, and a perfect little wood stove to keep you cozy!

*A shared guest restroom/shower is available 24 hrs a day a close distance from the cabin.

Outside is a fire pit, with a bundle of wood, and trails to the dock for paddling or fishing! On the property is a destination hike to “the pub” which is lit by solar lights and includes a high-top table, hammock, and chimenea. It’s a fun date night space.

There is an Axe Throwing Target and Woodfired Pizza Oven on the property.

We purchased the property in 2022 and it is a work in progress. There are currently 2 cabins, 1 studio apt over the office, a dock in the water, and approximately 1.5 miles of trails. We have built a Tiny Office near the road which is nearly complete. We are always looking for feedback and suggestions! Please send us a message and let us know your thoughts!

Guest access
Maybelle’s guests will have full access to the cabin and the 100 acres of woods that surround it. There's a dock in the water and guests can use the kayaks, paddleboards or canoes to explore or go fishing. In the winter, guests can go ice fishing, skating, nordic skiing and snowshoeing!

Other things to note
The number of guest is set to 3 for parents of small children, there's only one bed. There's room for a pack and play or sleeping mat. We also have an inflatable twin bed that can be set up!

Neighborhood highlights

Maybelle is located at the start of 100 acres of land on the Whitefield / Windsor town line. It is fully remote from the other cabin and near enough to drive to in your 2wd. The cabin is located in the woods, but sometimes you can still hear the road noises.

Givens pond can be accessed by a short walk through a path in the woods.

There are two trails that are lit for night-time exploring. One by reflectors and the other by solar lights.

There are special areas in the woods:
"The Pub" is lit with solar lights where you can have a fire, play a game of cards and relax in a hammock.
"The Pizzeria" is a woodfired pizza oven and table for two.
"The Dock" is where the canoes, kayaks and paddleboards are stored as well as life jackets, and paddles. There is also a fire pit in this area.

There are two cabins on the property - if you would like to book them at the same time, send an inquiry and we can help you find dates when they are both available.

* 2023 construction projects are happening in the parking area when you first pull into the land. These activities should not impact your stay, please let us know if there are any issues!
