The space
This is one of the most beautiful locations in the heart of the Lake District national park with fabulous scenery and walks all around. In fact you can easily do different walks from the door every day for a fortnight I just love it and would like to live here all the time. Since I have to work I am pleased to offer it to others to visit and enjoy.
The house itself is set on 3 floors with a feature spiral staircase. Its cosy and warm even in winter. In summer sun streams in through the front windows and you can sit outside on the patio and watch the sunrise or set out across the hills. Friendly sheep often drop by to mow the lawn!
Nearby is wainwrights famous pub and a little further, but still an easy walk, the Britannia inn. Or take a walk up the lovely valley to the Old or New Dungeon Ghyll All serve great food, real ales and have welcoming open fires.
