Imagine Tulum Penthouse · Studio Suite · Aldea Zama, Tulum.
"We mostly had the rooftop pool to ourselves." — Kaylie, Airbnb guest
Modern, clean, effortless. Coffee on the private terrace, then the rooftop infinity pool — one clear view over the jungle canopy, often yours alone. King bed with a mattress chosen by a physical therapist, fiber optic internet, kitchenette. 4.89 stars · Superhost since 2018.
One of three suites — book alone, or add the other two for the full 3-bedroom penthouse.
The space
Mornings tend to start on the private terrace with coffee. Two floors up, the common rooftop infinity pool looks out over the jungle canopy — one clear view, birds at that level, open sky. At that hour it's often yours alone.
A boutique building of just 15 units — private and quiet in a way larger complexes aren't. For couples, solo travelers, and remote workers who want a quiet base, not the noise.
Traveling with family or friends? This suite can be combined with the two neighboring suites to create the complete three-bedroom Imagine Tulum Penthouse.

The Neighborhood
The Aldea Zama Difference
Aldea Zama sits between the beach and town — close enough to reach either in minutes, far enough from the noise of both. The beach road draws the evening crowds and prices everything for tourists; the jungle neighborhoods west of town have charm but unpaved roads and limited lighting. Aldea Zama, on the other hand, is the only neighborhood in Tulum with underground utilities and a municipal sewage treatment system — a practical difference guests notice. Paved streets, ample parking, modern infrastructure — and a small commercial strip of cafes, bars, boutiques, and fitness centers built around residents, not tourists.
Tulum draws a different traveler now. Fewer people chasing the moment, more people who came for the thing itself. Aldea Zama uncomplicates the rest.

Other things to note
• As is common throughout Tulum, toilet paper should be placed in the bathroom bin rather than flushed — one is provided.
• The beach is about a mile away — a 5-minute scooter ride or quick taxi. Walk-in and bicycle access is free.
• Sargasso seaweed arrives seasonally — typically late March through September — and can affect beach conditions. Tulum's cenotes are at their best this time of year.
• The building runs solar panels that feed back into the grid — a small offset to Tulum's strained infrastructure.
• Daytime construction noise is occasionally present in parts of Aldea Zama.
• Regional power outages can occasionally occur throughout Tulum.
