Other things to note
*** HOPE YOU’LL READ THIS —GOOD INFO IN HERE! THANKS!
Please note: This is an updated older home. It is NOT ACCESSIBLE. Lack of accessibility should be factored into your consideration. It is necessary to climb steps to enter and exit the cottage, there are thresholds, the beds are antique and high, one bathroom has a tub with shower and the other a shower that one must step up to enter.*
The a/c and heat is a newer split system. The stove is gas. The refrigerator has an ice maker. There is a microwave, coffee maker, and toaster oven. No dishwasher. There is a small, stacked washer/dryer unit for your clothing. We will take care of washing your linens and towels; leave the linens on the beds and just toss the towels in the hamper.
*PLEASE NOTE REGARDING THE LOCATION —The cottage is on a quiet sandy tree-lined lane, but it is only a short distance to the main road. You may hear traffic noise when you are outside, and primarily during the day. It is definitely quiet inside. If you like quaint and mostly quiet, this will suit you. It is not waterfront. There’s a waterfront park (Woolley Park) 1-1/2 blocks away with a public pier and walking paths. Gulf Specimen Marine Lab & Aquarium may be considered in walking distance, too. Most places to see and explore are a drive, rather than a walk. You are in luck if you are a cyclist— there are great bike paths. If it’s summer and rainy season, it’s Florida and there will be bugs-especially mosquitoes - and you may need repellent. There is so much to see if you are interested in the natural world. Great restaurants & seafood markets, too! Thanks!!

* *If you wish to bring a pet there will be a discussion and a $80 per pet fee. No exotic animals like iguanas, ferrets, etc.

No more than **2 dogs allowed.**

Insurance says:
No dogs over 40 lbs.
No pit bulls , Rottweilers, German Shepards, Dobermans.
No exotic animals like iguanas, ferrets, etc.

The $80/ pet fee is paid through Airbnb.

**This is a SMOKE FREE HOME. This is a Vape Free Home. No smoking outside either.
PLEASE NOTE: Be sure to stock up on groceries beforehand. There is a Publix supermarket in Crawfordville. It is likely you’ll be going through Crawfordville to get to Panacea. No grocery stores in Panacea, but there are 2 totally great seafood markets in Panacea: Mineral Springs Seafood & My Way Seafood. If you are here on the first Saturday of the month, there’s a Farmers Market @ the Community Garden & Fire Station.
There is a Dollar General in Panacea.
Glad you are considering a visit! Thanks again!

Being an Airbnb host is a great pleasure, and being able to extend hospitality is a great privilege. Airbnb has brought us the absolute nicest and most thoughtful guests. My husband and I love our peaceful, modest, and vintage cottage. We enjoyed trying to give it a bright and welcoming visual appeal. We hope hope our decorative touches help our guests feel welcome and comfortable.
