The space
Welcome to a cozy 17 Acre countryside retreat where modern comfort meets the quiet beauty of Kentucky’s rolling fields. This inviting mother-in-law suite is attached to our main home yet fully private, offering guests a peaceful hideaway with all the essentials for a restorative stay.
Step into a bright sitting room designed for relaxation, complete with soft lighting, a queen sleeper sofa, and a full bathroom on the main floor.
Upstairs, the loft bedroom opens to views of the pond and surrounding pasture—a perfect morning backdrop. A second bathroom with a shower adds extra comfort for extended stays.
The kitchenette is thoughtfully stocked for light cooking and morning coffee rituals, featuring a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, hot plate, crock pot, Keurig coffee maker, and sink.
Though there’s no TV, guests often say the sounds of horses and the soft wind through the trees are entertainment enough.

Guests are invited to relax and unwind across our spacious property, with open fields to explore and a fenced-in backyard that’s perfect for an evening stroll or quiet moment outdoors.
Our farm is home to a former racing thoroughbred—Sportacular, the great-grandson of Secretariat—who often greets guests from the pasture, adding a touch of Kentucky’s legendary horse heritage to your stay.
For your convenience, the suite includes a private entrance with a coded lock for easy and secure check-in. Once inside, your retreat is entirely your own.

We want your stay to be as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, so here are a few details to help you plan ahead.
Your suite is a private, loft-style space attached to the main home but separated by a locked door for complete privacy. The layout is open and cozy, perfect for relaxing after a day exploring Kentucky’s countryside.
1. The lofted bedroom is one large, open area rather than an enclosed room.
2. Both bathrooms include walk-in showers (no tubs).
3. The upstairs bathroom is compact and best suited for quick use.
4. The efficiency kitchen is well-equipped but does not include an oven.
5. The queen pullout sofa comfortably sleeps two and fills most of the sitting area when extended.
6. There is no television, allowing guests to unplug and enjoy the quiet of the farm.
7. The loft is accessed by stairs, so please keep this in mind when packing.
8. Seasonally, you may see grass-fed cattle grazing nearby. Guests interested in farm-to-table beef raised right here on the property are welcome to ask for details—we’re always happy to share.
