Farmstay vacation rentals in Kentucky

We absolutely enjoyed our time here! Everything was wonderful . The surroundings are scenic and fun to see the farm animals! We went to the Ark which is very close and simple driving. The next day we went to the Creation Museum which is also easy to get to about 40 minutes north. We will certainly stay again if we are in the area.

We loved it here lots of land for the kids to play and be loud and wild like kids should be. Also very peaceful and beautiful country settings we will be back!

Absolute perfect experience & stay for us! Awesome & efficient communication, easy & clear check-in instructions, gorgeous property & surroundings, & loved how they had the Airbnb set up. When our travels take us around/to Lexington again, Pam & Jay’s place will be at the top of the list for spots we look at stay at! Pam was very conversational & showed us her horse & some of the property. Jay was traveling so we didn’t get a chance to meet him- gives us a perfect reason to go visit again! 😂 beyond appreciative of them opening up their home & being such great hosts.

It’s hard to believe this place is real!! Coming from Boston to this beautiful, peaceful property was just what we needed. I think my favorite part was rocking in a rocking chair watching the horses graze and play. 10/10!!! We will definitely stay here again! ( also was very comfortable, had everything we needed and was very clean) Thanks for having us!

The Coop is on a beautiful farm. We walked around and looked at the gardens, sheep, & chickens. Comfortable beds, nice porch and deck for dining and relaxing. The Coop is located far enough in the country to enjoy the peace and quiet but still close to town for dining and shopping. The town of Goshen was clean and the people friendly. Dave and Margaret are excellent hosts and we would love to come back for another stay. They left us eggs, muffins, sausage and even coffee and creamer. Thanks and blessings to both of you!

This is a very nice house on a working farm. A great place to stay for sure if you like horses. We will definitely be back again!

I’ve stayed in many AirBnbs and this was the most unique, beautiful and homey. I’ve actually never seen a place that showed so much admiration for its surroundings and honored its history as this cottage does. When you come here, take good care to look at all of the details - they remind you that you have found your new Kentucky home. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet. Wow! What a place to recharge and ground yourself! Beautiful, peaceful, comfortable, and definitely will be back as soon as we can. Barbara was an excellent host, very accommodating. The goats were so entertaining and friendly. The hammock and fairy lights were a welcome addition to the laidback atmosphere. Thank you Barbara for the best weekend away from home ♥️

great place to stay. our girls loved that there were sheep and chickens on the property. however we were not awakened by animal sounds. there were room darkening curtains. one thing to note is there is a staircase up to the front door, which our little one struggled with (no stairs once inside the unit). we appreciated the variety of board games and kids books that were available. the couch and beds were comfortable. we would stay here again.

I almost hate to let everyone know how WONDERFUL staying at Dawn’s Wagon Wheel Barndominium was—I’m afraid it will always be booked when we want to head back there, which we DEFINITELY will do. Great host, great space, great amenities, great location. One of my best AirBnB experiences!

This home is absolutely beautiful. We loved everything about the peaceful space. Everything was super clean, and the master bed was extremely comfortable (we didn’t use the twin beds). The master bath had jets in the tub, and a water softener attached to the shower head which made my hair feel great. The best part was how close the wildlife adventure was to us. The animals were so well taken care of, and their space was impressively clean. We loved the animals.

From the singing birds to the clucking chickens to the curious cows, Frank’s Place is THE place for the perfect Kentucky bluegrass getaway. This Californian is looking forward to a return trip! We felt right at home and enjoyed our stay. We loved being able to feed and pet the horses every day. This home was the perfect location for our bourbon tour adventure. We would highly recommend!

We loved our stay, the house exceeded expectations and made for a great base camp for climbing and hiking in RRG. we're were greeted most days by a very friendly dog and affectionate cat. Will definitely stay here on our next trip to the red.

We were in town for a wedding and didn’t get to enjoy the property long enough. It was beautiful and the horses and visits from the beautiful cat brought smiles to all. I would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Such a great place to stay!! Pretty clean and accommodating. Very relaxing and peaceful place! The animals were amazing to watch! The daughter was such a sweetie to talk to! Lots of cute little kitties to watch. Wish we knew beforehand that we could have bought fresh eggs and ground beef from the family farm instead of hauling from out of town. But I would definitely recommend this place!

He provided recommendations and went above and beyond helping me on my search for an uncommon tres leches cake. We felt right at home and had everything we needed!

If you have the chance to stay here, absolutely take it! The hosts were the most welcoming and friendly hosts I’ve ever stayed with in all my years staying in airbnbs. Their property was absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. The airbnb was also so cozy, and EXACTLY what me and my fiancé wanted for our getaway to disconnect from the chaos of the world. If you love cats, they have the best ( and sweetest) welcoming committee possible! They offered so many helpful recommendations for local restaurants and places to shop as well, which was so amazing. I genuinely cannot emphasize enough how wonderful they, and their home are! I’d absolutely stay here again the next time I’m in the area!

Cordova Retreat was a dream vacation. This home was spotless and beautifully decorated. The bedrooms had comfortable beds. Towels plentiful in bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we need: a dual pod and drip coffee maker, microwave, kettle, dw,range oven, fridge and plenty of pots pans dishes, silverware and utensils but the best of the best were the unbelievable views of rolling farmland, cows and horses from this mountain top location. The owners were warm and welcoming and responded immediately . Thank you for a healing Vaca close to Ark and Creation.

My most fantastic stay ever! Beautiful, quiet surroundings & all I heard were the quiet sounds of animals. Kathy & Scott are the most wonderful hosts! The love they have for their farm shows every day - they love what they do & welcome renters to participate on the farm. Kathy is so knowledgeable & I learned a lot. I loved all the animals & my Boxer made a great new friend! Other than a couple of pesky pillowcases whose whereabouts stumped us all for a bit, LOL, our stay was perfect & we were able to share few meals together. I couldn't have had a better, relaxing time. I'm booked for next year.
