Lovely two bedroomed cottage in the heart of Embsay village.
The space
Crag View Cottage is set in a central Embsay location, not far from Elm Square and the Elm Tree pub. It is also a short walk to the village shop & post office. Set back a little from the road, with a small front garden area, the front door opens into the welcoming living room, which has two sofas (including small sofa bed) and a wood burning stove.
Beyond the living room is the spacious kitchen, with dining table and chairs for 5 or 6 people. The modern converted electric Aga is easy to use (similar to a conventional oven), and there is also a microwave and other appliances. All basic utensils etc. are provided. The back door opens out from the kitchen into a small paved area with table, chairs and a barbecue.
Quite a steep flight of stairs leads to the first floor level. At the top of the stairs is the modern shower room (large shower, basin and loo), and two bedrooms.
The master bedroom comprises a king size bed, wardrobe and dressing table and has views across the road and out to Embsay crag. The second bedroom at the rear of the property, has a small double and a wardrobe. A single pump up bed is also available (please let me know in advance if you need any single bedding).
Free wifi is provided throughout the property, and on road parking is available outside the gate, as well as a free village car park across the road.
Guest access
The whole property is available for exclusive use to guests.
Other things to note
The property has steep stairs (with a hand rail) up to the first floor where the two bedrooms and the only bathroom is. There is no bathroom on the ground floor.
The property has a modern shower room (no bath).
The property is completely non smoking both inside the house and in the front & back gardens.
