We fell in love with this newer (2016) custom-built estate when trying to decide if we wanted to be in the mts. or by the ocean. This combines both the gorgeous views experienced when in a chalet amidst pine trees & water views with Cape San Blas in the distance.

The space
It’s amazingly spacious & relaxing ! That being said, as mentioned in other places in the listing, the state of Florida has much wildlife. Following are some examples of animals which have been spotted within a mile of the property & could be encountered near Windmark, although there could be others not listed here:
bears, turtles, raccoons, Pygmie Rattlesnakes, alligators, sharks, hawks, eagles, etc.
We do have a pest control company perform quarterly services & emergency removal. Please call us immediately to let us know of issues. We are not responsible for any injury which occurs, but will take every precaution to let guests know of any threats in the area.

Other things to note
A signed contract will be required, which includes names and ages of guests. We reserve the right to ask for driver’s license or other ID.

Neighborhood highlights

This home is in the estate home section ("Phase 1") of a lovely gated community with access to two shared heated pools, one children's playground equipment area within the larger "village" pool area.

Notify owners if you are interested in learning about any social events, community events, lectures and/or book clubs during your stay. There are also great ideas on the FB page for Calypso Light Haus.

There are miles of walking paths and an electric 4-person golf cart.
There are also companies nearby that will rent additional golf carts.
There is driveway parking for guests and 2 garage spaces. There is also beach parking at Windmark Public Beach.
