PRIVACY & HOST PROXIMITY
We value your peace and quiet above all else. We live on-site in a separate tiny house located roughly 60 feet away.

Because of our close layout, our tiny house is visible from the main driveway and from the side angle of your wall of windows. However, we have intentionally designed the property so that your main living view looks past us into the dense, towering forest.

We share the main driveway but provide a dedicated, clearly marked parking space just for you. We are always a short text away if you need anything at all, but we completely respect your space and will leave you to enjoy your private forest getaway.

LOCATION & SURROUNDINGS
Our location offers the absolute best of both worlds: a beautiful, quiet, and serene rural life that is still located incredibly close to local grocery stores, coastal towns, and restaurants.

Nearby Attractions:
Brooks (5 mins): Local food and art at the Marsh River Co-op and Ralph’s Cafe.

Unity (15 mins): Amish goods and historic Belfast & Moosehead Lake Train Rides.

Belfast (20 mins): Idyllic coastal town filled with local food, coffee shops, and year-round activities.

Moose Point State Park (25 mins): Scenic ocean picnic spots, coastal hiking trails, and tidal pools.

Lincolnville Beach (35 mins): Relax on a rare, beautiful sandy Maine beach.

Camden (40 mins): Iconic, charming New England town "where the mountains meet the sea."

Guest access
The cabin is designed for single-level living. Please note the two entry options:
- The front door is accessed via six exterior steps and has the keypad for entry.
- A gently sloping path from the driveway leads to the back porch, offering stair-free access directly into the kitchen.
- One person from your group will need to enter through the front door first to unlock the back door for others wishing to use the stair-free path. Your unique door code for keyless entry will be provided prior to your arrival.

Other things to note
INTERACTION
You will be staying on a working property. You will see us around developing our permaculture gardens, chopping wood, building forest paths, and marrying people through our elopement business, Nadair Maine. You might also see guests from our other accommodation - a cozy off-grid glamping cabin in the middle of the forest.

We love connecting with guests who are interested, but we also deeply respect your need for solitude and will give you all the space you desire. If you are looking for a secluded cabin in the middle of the forest, this is not it. If you feel called to be a part of creative, loving community, we can’t wait to host you.

MAINE NATURE
You will be immersed in a natural forest environment. This includes local wildlife and insects (like black flies, mosquitoes, and ticks, especially in warmer months). We are grateful to the many species who share the land in which these bugs are their food source, but we also provide bug spray and Thermocell to assist with your health and comfort. For a bug-free experience, a winter visit is a wonderful option.

CONNECTIVITY
The cabin does not have a TV. However, the high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi is excellent for streaming movies and shows on your personal devices. Please be aware that cell phone service can be intermittent depending on your carrier.

WOOD STOVE
The wood stove is only available for guest use between November and April.

AC AND HEAT
The cabin also has a split unit for ultra comfort in all seasons.

If all this sounds good, add this cabin to your saved list or better yet, instant book your stay. We look forward to hosting you.
