Welcome to your cozy A-Frame just 6 minutes from the Sugarloaf Ski Resort access road. Enjoy world class downhill skiing, snowboarding, nordic skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling & Ice fishing during the winter months. Summer activities include hiking, golfing, downhill mountain biking, ATV trails, boating & tours of flagstaff lake and its interesting history. After a day outdoors, soak in the private hot tub, grab a book, have an outdoor fire, watch a movie, plan your next adventure, and relax.
The space
Bigelow Basecamp has a fully stocked kitchen, cozy living room with electric fireplace. Bathroom with stand up shower. Upstairs are the 2 bedrooms that are open to one another, one has a queen bed and the other has 2 twin beds. Between the twin beds you will find access to the second floor balcony. On the back deck you will find your Hot Tub!
Just 5 minutes to the sugarloaf access road, 3 minutes to the town of Stratton and Flagstaff lake. Your 3/4 acre lot also abuts the 37,000 acres of the Bigelow Preserve.
Given this prime location your cozy A-Frame is a gateway to 4 season's of adventure!
Ski and Snowboard Sugarloaf, enjoy Nordic skiing and snowshoeing, go ice fishing or hop on a snowmobile and explore some of Maines ITS trail system.
When the snow melts, grab your clubs and hit the sugarloaf golf resort, rip some turns at the Sugarloaf bike park or take a casual ride on easier family friendly trails. Hike a section of Appalachian Trail or explore other local trails, spend the day boating and fishing on nearby lakes and rivers. Rent an ATV or bring your own to explore some of Maines nearby trails.
After a full day outside, return to the warmth and comfort of the A-Frame — the ideal place to unwind, recharge, and plan your next adventure. Whether you’re here for powder days, summer trails, or fall foliage, Bigelow Basecamp is your home base in the mountains.

You have access to the entire space except for locked cabinet in kitchen and 2 bottom drawers left of kitchen sink.
Other things to note
•No smoking in the A-frame!
•We are pet friendly. But do charge a $75.00 fee. Please add the pet when booking to have the fee included in the total cost. Thank you!
•We hope you have a great time exploring the sugarloaf area. Please realize we do not control the weather and if the mountain closes, there are still many other things you can do in the area. You will not be eligible for a refund based on an inability to use your pass due to weather related or wind related events, including snow levels, or mechanical failures.
Please respect all local trails and property, abide by all local laws pertaining to recreational motor vehicle and water craft use.
