Great location

Guests who stayed here in the past year loved the location.
Arranged on the first floor at the end of a picturesque courtyard, this apartment benefits from a private, enclosed garden where you can relax and enjoy the distant hum of village life.

A Note on Village Life: The apartment is situated in a traditional village setting, and as such, you will hear the chimes of the historic church bells throughout the day and night. We believe this adds to the unique charm of the location, but please be aware of this local feature before booking.

The space
This modern space juxtaposes beautifully with its ancient surroundings, making it one of the area's most sought after luxurious retreats.

The Space. The apartment has been beautifully designed and renovated to exacting standards in a scandi-chic inspired clean and modern finish. Some steps at the rear of the courtyard will bring you to a garden gate on your left, this is the entrance to the private garden you will have sole access to during your stay.

The main entrance brings you directly into the open plan kitchen/sitting room which features all the appliances that you would expect for your stay, including dishwasher, Smeg fridge (with ice tray) hob, cooker and a Nespresso Coffee machine. The white gloss tops and breakfast bar enhance the fresh, timeless feel and complement white-washed walls and quirky ceilings.

The adjoining sitting room serves only to enhance the luxe feel, with a comfy yet stylish sofa (which also doubles as an additional bed) Smart TV so you can access your Netflix/Prime accounts, and 4G wifi. The window gives views onto the garden and lights up the warm and welcoming space.

A hallway with another picture window overlooking the Number 11 courtyard leads to the bathroom and two bedrooms. The master bedroom features a beautifully presented king size bed and hanging space, again finished in a simple, ambient, and modern style.

Adjacent to this room you will find a bedroom perfectly set up for smaller guests with gorgeous white bunk beds, a small selection of games and a cosy corner, perfect for everyone to get their quiet time. (Please note that the bunk beds are sturdy and substantial enough to accommodate adult-sized guests!)

Finally, off the hallway is a BRAND NEW bathroom. Featuring a new electric shower, vanity sink unit with illuminated mirror, towel radiator & eco-friendly products from Faith In Nature.

The apartment is complete with electric heating, quality bedding, towels, smart TV and WIFI (as well as a supply of tea & GRIND Nespresso coffee capsules)

Please note: Bedding & towels are provided based on number of guests. For example 2 guests, the bedding for the master bedroom only will be set up. If you require additional bedding as you wish to use separate rooms, this can be made available at a small laundry fee cost.

Please message if you have any questions. Thanks

Guest access
The entrance to the apartment is through a shared courtyard of cute village shops including a beautiful Tearoom, ice cream/chocolate shop, gift shop, Post Office & butchers.

At the top of the courtyard you will find a lock box with your key, follow the path to the small steps directly ahead of you and enter the garden gate to the left. The white door above the steps at the end of the patio area is the entrance to the apartment.

Other things to note
Please note that the access is via a bustling little courtyard & the businesses may start work early from Monday - Saturday.

A Note on Village Life: The apartment is situated in a traditional village setting, and as such, you will hear the chimes of the historic church bells throughout the day and night. We believe this adds to the unique charm of the location, but please be aware of this local feature before booking.

Happier at home in the country than in the city but do enjoy the odd trip. Wherever I travel, I appreciate characterful properties with great interiors and always require great food & wine!
