Vacation rentals with a patio in Greatstone

The house is a lovely, quirky place - both a balance of cool, interesting, charming and cosy. It's upside down, in a fun way; you walk straight into the bedroom with the kitchen/living room upstairs. The bedroom downstairs has more of an artistically minimalist feeling to it, whereas upstairs feels like a classic, cosy kitchen/living room. Cute little garden behind, which I'm sure is much better enjoyed in the summer than in winter, but was a nice addition nonetheless. It's just opposite the Turner Contemporary and the beach, and right near the coolest bars and restaurants in Margate. Really well located. Definitely get yourself booked in to Bottega Caruso for dinner, and they have a gorgeous wine bar next door! As for Jen, she was kind, attentive, flexible and helpful! She has a neighbour a few doors down that helps out when she's not around. I really appreciated my stay! :)

This was a wonderful place to stay and explore. The garden was absolutely wonderful and much appreciated by all guests of two and four legs. Wonderfully clean, bright and spacious rooms. We had a wonderful time and are very grateful for the stay. We will definitely be back!

What a gorgeous apartment, perfectly clean and well equipped. I've never felt so welcome. We had a wonderful stay, Marc and all the staff at the pub were so lovely and warm. We had a fantastic couple of meals too, very reasonably priced. The apartment is located in a lovely spot and easy access to other places to visit. Can't wait to come back and stay!

I so totally have to shout out about Andy & his place. You can see why Andy has the Super Host designation. Every single little thing about this gentleman & his property is super. This was last min, late at night, a mess. But Andy was super responsive and just totally flexible, helpful, and kind. His check in directions and instructions are world class, detailled and superb. Others should take note. The property is in the heart of the City, the centre, but the location - riverside - it was so quiet & peaceful. Everything here is done to its best and there are just little additional touches that are second to none, from little nibbles, chargers & cables - even fab placed lighting (turn on the one behind the sofa!). It's spacious over 2 floors & 2 baths, well appointed & maintained, but with thought and care. Take note, don't miss this place, or Andy - who I thank wholeheartedly for everything & apologise to for my late night messages & tardy check out. I'll be back, if I can get in!

An incredible stay in a beautiful apartment. The view across to the sea was spellbinding and you can watch the sunset with a lovely glass of wine. The flat has everything you could possibly need and is thoughtful as well as top quality. The coffee machine was outstanding. The shower was perfect, the beds comfortable and there was a very clever and easy way of accessing the flat. St. Leonards has so many incredible independent and interesting shops, fabulous restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and bars, as well as a market with beautiful things. Lots of art and vintage shops and within bus, train or healthy walk from Hastings with it's equally amazing shops, restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. So much to see and do and then to come home to a calm and beautiful apartment is just wonderful! Thank you so much for everything.

The location is unbeatable and the house itself is amazing - spacious and beautifully finished. One of the best air bnbs I've stayed in - the friends we were there with agreed, as did the kids! would stay again in a heartbeat

We had a lovely relaxing stay here. It felt like a really cozy home with the added benefit of the hot tub as well. Lovely walks on the door step and walkable to a few different pubs for drinks and/or dinner. Fully equipped kitchen was handy too. Easy to find and good parking. Megan was also very responsive.

We stayed here for a week and it was a great location for us , the property was warm , clean and relaxing during our stay . Will definitely stay again when back in Hastings. Thank you .

The place is great - very clean, airy and with all the amenities needed. It is situated a bit further from historical centre (Pantiles), in more residential area with loads of nice (and not touristy) restaurants/coffee shops/pubs to choose from. It is also just right next to the park. Dominic was very responsive and accommodating host. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay and appreciated Katarina’s hospitality. The house was a very convenient place for us to break up our long drive to Southern Spain and literally 5mins from the LeShuttle, and we got to enjoy being right by the beach in Folkestone as well. Super house and great host.

We had a very comfortable stay at April cottage. All three bedrooms are spacious with very comfortable beds. The rooms were warm upstairs which is great for winter. A little fresher downstairs but we weren't uncomfortable. The sofa is amazingly comfortable. We only stayed a night but we commented we would have been very comfortable if we had stayed for longer. We really loved the apartment. The facilities in the kitchen were excellent and there was a generous supply of tea and coffee pods. The view of the sea was super and the promenade was right on the doorstep. We did find access to the front of the property a little difficult due to the lack of a handrail and the height of the individual steps. We had two members of our party with limited mobility, who really struggled. Angela was able to arrange for us to use the rear access which did have a handrail. Perhaps a note about this should be added to the description. However we would visit again as we loved the area and the apartment.

Great location just a short walk from the high street and beach. Hosts communications were spot on, timely/accurate/clear, couldn’t have asked for more. The flat was spotless, full of gadgets and lovely new bathroom. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Dan for letting us stay!

It was just as you described it, very clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The tips in your house guide were also very helpful, the location was perfect and we enjoyed the walk along the coast to Reculver fort. We would absolutely recommend it and will definitely be back. Spot on for what we needed whilst attending a gig at Dreamland. Great location, a short walk to the town centre and beach. Claira was quick to respond to the only question I had and was friendly & welcoming for check-in.

The pictures don’t really do justice to how amazing this place was. Everything was lovely and the view from the balcony was beautiful to wake to in the morning. Susan was a great hoist and very helpful. We would definitely come back again

I recommend highly to anyway who is staying in the Thanet area! Beautiful place tucked away! With the beach jsut a 2 minute walk away.

We had an absolute delight staying at David's seaside accommodation! The little annex was immaculately clean and cozy, perfect for a relaxing getaway. David was an exceptional host - friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond to any questions we had. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. The location was stunning, with a beautiful beach just a stone's throw away. We spent our days sunbathing and fishing, and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. While the pub was a 30-minute walk away, we found it easy to grab an Uber, which was convenient and hassle-free. We can't thank David enough for his wonderful hospitality and for sharing his little slice of coastal heaven with us. We will definitely be back and can't wait to experience it all again! Highly recommend David's accommodation to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating seaside escape.
