Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Gogebic County

Tara was such an amazing host. She was really responsive and accommodating, we were traveling with kids and dog and she had lots of amenities for us to use. It was a great size for our large group and close to town. Sadly, we had to cut the trip short because of illness and she was very quick to respond and understanding of the situation. I hope we can stay again soon and for a longer stay next time!

Really lovely and good value apartment to live in. The house is near Sunday lake and is very convenient for people to make a tour around porcupine mountain. The houses is clean and you can get everything you need to cook, have fun, wash clothes, take shower and sleep.

John was quick to respond and gave us clear instructions. There is plenty of parking and it is a great place to stay for a snowmobile trip.

We had a great time. The guests are friends and the great room was so nice for socializing. We got to go riding and experienced sights we never saw before and some we did!

Great place very dog friendly, the fenced back yard was so helpful. Super great room, enough seating so our large group could be together. This place is stocked with everything we need, tape, extension cord and big bowls were a nice surprise. Convienent location with a lovely setting and nice view out the back. Plenty of parking too. We enjoyed our stay.

This was a lovely home with fantastic access to the ABR trail system! The kitchen had everything we needed for making great meals. We really enjoyed the separate spaces so kids could do their thing while adults did their own thing. It's an easy drive into Ironwood. We will definitely keep this place in mind when coming back to this area.

We came up to cross country ski, a group of 4 adults, a 4 year old, a 1 year old, and a dog. It was so perfect. 8 minute drive to ABR (best trail groomers in the world). Dishwasher, washer, and dryer came in really handy with the kids. They also have a high chair and pack and play available. The large pantry and two entries with extra space for snow boots, ski boots, and lots of hooks made it so convenient. Probably the best part was our 4 year old experiencing the PacMan game, haha. We hope to stay again next year!

We've rented a few different places in Ironwood now, and this is definitely one of the nicer homes we found. The location was great for walking in to town and accessing local trails. The house had a well stocked kitchen and had all the amenities we needed. I'd highly recommend this home and we hope to stay here again.

Book Chris' place multiple times when visiting family. Always a great spot.

Luke has been very communicative throughout the whole process. He has maintained contact before, during and after our stay. The apartment is located within walking distance to several local eateries. You're also not far from the Wisconsin border where you will find even more restaurants. Upon arrival, we weren't entirely sure where the apartment was because there was no clear address on the building and we never saw a photo of the outside. It's a very spacious apartment, they have done some great updates to the place. New shower with great water pressure. They upgraded the TV before our visit. The kitchen was stocked with basic needs (dishes, pans, cups, etc.) and our bed was comfortable. Like much of the U.P. it's an older building (built in 1887), but I have no doubt that the owners are going to restore its charm.

This is a perfect place if you are skiing at the Snowriver Mountain hills. The place is a little dated and the walls are a little thin, but we didn't want to spend our days in the condo so it didn't bother us. Peter is very polite and responsive.

Great stay! There was a slight oil/gasoline smell due to it being above an engine repair shop, but this was mentioned in the listing so it wasn’t a surprise. Other than that it was clean and in a nice location :)

Our group had a blast here for a weekend of skiing! It was great to be right on the run. The wood stove was so cozy after long days of skiing. The hosts are very responsive, which was so appreciated. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you!

Myron was a great host, proactive communication to make sure everything was good. Great condo for a ski trip, our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. He had lots of fun amenities like a popcorn maker, glove dryer, foot warmer, blankets, games and more. It all definitely helped make our stay that much more fun and enjoyable.

Great location, ski in/ski out. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, clean, nice furniture, nice TV w/cable, close to Jacks Sky Bar.

Such a great condo for a nice ski trip in the UP! The place is spotless which I really appreciate, the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, and the beds were comfy. Super easy access to the slopes at Snow River. Loved it and would definitely stay here again! Host is super responsive and proactive with instructions.

I've stayed at Calley's places slopeside at Black River Basin a number of times. She is a great host - communicative, responsive and flexible. Her places are the best location for skiing in the area and have everything you need. See prior reviews for more info.

Loved staying here. The room was amazing, very homey and thoughtful. And the building is cool. We come here to ski every year and am hoping to book this same room next year!

Alexis and Luke are great hosts! They were very proactive in communicating leading up to our arrival and prior to our check out. Instructions for the lockbox, keys and garbage were very clear. We have stayed there before but for first timers, the instructions on how to get to the lodge were very clear also. They always had wood stocked at the entrance for the fireplace which was super nice. Very clean and cozy. It's ideal for skiing in and out at Black River Basin. We love staying at the Bunkhouse and will be back!

Nina’s place was exactly what we were looking for. The condo was beautifully set up and had everything we needed and more! The surroundings were beautiful and an easy drive to the Porcupine Mountain’s State Park. We had a perfect weekend exploring the area and enjoying the condo. Thank You Nina!

This was a great place to stay for a ski trip to Big Powderhorn and Snowriver. Hard to find affordable places that allow dogs so we were excited to find this. We will definitely be back!
