Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Gogebic County

The location was excellent. It was calm and serene. The scenery was breathtaking. The establishment was exceptionally clean. The beds were very comfortable. The lake was beautiful and enjoyable to explore. The smallmouth fishing was fantastic, although there weren't many panfish or walleye in the lake. We also tried muskie fishing but were unsuccessful. There was a local muskie tournament taking place, and the boat we spoke with had no luck either. The fishing is enjoyable for casual anglers. However, for serious fishermen, Oxbow Lake may not offer the caliber of fish one might expect.

We had a great time !!! The Swiss hut 1 and 2 provided us our needs after a long day of exploring the area. Cozy and warm . Great place to gather with friends and family. Thank you and hope we can come back in the near future.

This was the second time at this location. We enjoyed our stay very much and my wife would like to live there. It was very relaxing. And the bakery treats are always a highlight! We like to Nordic ski and it's very easy to get to ABR from the Bakery Bungalow. We did have a vehicle issue while we were there and Jerri was very accommodating. She helped with local contacts and let us extend our stay until we could get vehicle issue resolved. She was so helpful during that time. Thank you!! We would recommend the Bakery Bungalow and will probably be back.

We loved our stay at Steve’s place. Great accommodations for our family of 5. Plenty of space in the garage for our snowmobile gear bags. Driveway easily accommodated our four-place trailer and pick up truck. We were able to ride right from Steve’s and connect to the trail. We would definitely stay again.

Tara was such an amazing host. She was really responsive and accommodating, we were traveling with kids and dog and she had lots of amenities for us to use. It was a great size for our large group and close to town. Sadly, we had to cut the trip short because of illness and she was very quick to respond and understanding of the situation. I hope we can stay again soon and for a longer stay next time!

We had a great stay at Sue and Jay's! The house was well-stocked with everything we could have needed, including amenities for the baby in our party. Sue was helpful, friendly, and very communicative, and included some personal touches like homemade bread. We would definitely stay here again!

we stayed for work! coming back each night after a Long Day's work it was nice to have a lot of space and more than one shower. we had our pets and the dogs absolutely loved being by the water! would stay again for sure if we ever work in the area again

Private country home. Very clean, great host. The shower is the best. Very different, very unique. It’s just straight up my favorite shower ever. Like, in my life lol. I’m putting one in my place now. You will have to see for yourself.

The cutest and coziest apartment ever!! Ewelina is an amazing host! Fully stocked kitchen, and bathroom, and instructions for how to use the fire place!

A great location. In walking distance to a ski lift. The place was clean and it was awesome being able to have a fire in the fire place. Peter checked in with us in person to see if we needed anything. Also, he was very responsive to a couple questions I had prior to arriving. We will be back.

Our group had a blast here for a weekend of skiing! It was great to be right on the run. The wood stove was so cozy after long days of skiing. The hosts are very responsive, which was so appreciated. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you!

We so enjoyed our stay! It was homey, comfortable, and warm. Our host was very helpful with local recommendations and was able to offer a flexible checkout time, which was a welcome touch. Big Powderhorn was an easy 10 minute walk away!

Kassi’s place will stay on our list of places to revisit! We went for a skiing weekend getaway with our 3 year old black lab. It was a very quick 2 minute drive to Big Powderhorn mountain which was super convenient. The place was exactly what we needed. A small, but very cute and cozy loft. The king bed was to die for. We felt right at home for our time away! It’s also decorated super fun. A big comfy couch was perfect for relaxing after a day on the mountain. Our pup, Walter, loved running around in the snow (we got 6+ inches during the 3 nights!) and made some friends with the neighbors in the building. Everyone was friendly and Kassi was incredibly fast at responding. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

The place was spotless. The fire was cozy, the hot tub was hot, and was perfect for our ski weekend minus the sub zero temps.
