Vacation rentals with a kayak in Gogebic County

Wonderful location on Lake Superior, close to the state park, and a 12 mile drive into town if you need to go. Beach offers beautiful unobstructed views of the sunset. Well stocked with firewood and kindling for the fire pits and the sauna. Location allows for quiet time and rest. Kitchen allows you to cook your own large meals and enjoy in a dining table that can seat eight easily. Front room is perfect for conversation or games for a large group. Bathrooms had showers with good water pressure. Sauna was well maintained, with the fire starting up easily, and heating up in due time. This is the perfect place for a family vacation. We had grandparents, parents, and kids at this beautiful hermitage. Ten out of 10 - would recommend!

We stayed at Jared & Sarah - Wolf Bay Lodge Cabin for a snowmobile trip. Hosts were easy to access through messenger and quick friendly responses. Cabin was clean and decorated nicely. Plenty of futons & comfortable couch's. We rode the trails to Land O'Lakes, Watersmeet & Marenisco. I highly recommend staying here. We are already trying to plan availability when to come back to Wolf Bay Lodge.

We enjoyed our stay at Moose Track Lodge. 2 grandparents, 4 children, 4 grandchildren! It's a beutiful setting and the house was comfortable for our group and as expected. We were familiar with the local area and enjoyed biking at WinMan and the trails. Dixies coffee shop is a tradition to stop at. The weather was nicely HOT (summer) and the swimming area and raft is wonderful! Fishing wasn't a big success on North Turtle at this time. S'mores around the fire a couple nights. We also ventured to Lake Superior and Conglomorate falls hike. The host communicated well that the parking is limited. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

it was such a wonderful stay. the only thing we could leave as a friendly advice is to highlight that the blower be turned on for the fireplace. Otherwise, the thermostat stays reading hot while the bedrooms get pretty chilly at night. But that is a typical user error we will own :). see you next year as well definitely be back!

Loved the large wrap-around deck, the firepit, the dock and swim raft. Kitchen was fantastic! We are definitely coming back!

Our family had a wonderful time, we enjoyed the house , but basically we lived outside on the lake ;) The lake is perfect for water sports especially with littles. The beach is pure sand and you can go forever out and be at an adult waist. We paddle boarded, swam, water scooters, fished hungout in tubes. Enjoyed the campfire pit each evening and family walks on the quiet “rode” Would recommend. Host was super responsive.

Elizabeth in the woods is the place to go if you’re looking to relax. The views of the lake are magnificent and the peace of the north woods is very welcoming. Jill was more than helpful whenever I had a request, we look forward to visiting again!

Usually you get to a place and it’s not quite what the pictures show but this was just the opposite… it was better! It was so cozy and peaceful, and the amenities were OUTSTANDING! We loved the nice touches, like the wonderful decor and how there were towels on our beds, fans in every room, and books and games laid out for every area. We will be coming back!

Perfect location for a small intimate gathering or just to book a night to explore the surrounding area. Erik and Betsy are great hosts. Would definitely reconsider rebooking another visit in the future.

We loved our stay group of 7 on side by side trip. The location was perfect!! House was cozy, and excellent host. The only weird thing was the bedroom set up. The one king room was the only private one. The other king just has a curtain. The two queen rooms are Connected and have the twin beds . But we are a pretty close nit group so we were very comfortable with one each other. My king bed was the most comfortable bed ever. House was in a very peaceful setting and the road was a perfect place to walk our dogs . They also had a great time also thank you again Debrah

This was a perfect secluded getaway in the Northwoods even in the winter. I took a week to work during the day. No issues with Internet connection. And in the evening enjoyed my surroundings and the cozy home. And loved all the windows in the house! The woods on both sides and the lake on one side. The weekend I drove to Ironwood for live music and went hiking at a local trail down the road and then another day at Presque Isle River in Porcupine Mtn State Park. Loved the online handbook to the Airbnb. Finally I got stuck in the driveway due to some weather that came in and the messaged me if I need to be plowed out. I said no but I do need help with my car and the maintenance guys came the next day and took care of it while I was on my work call!! I was SO appreciative. great experience and I would definitely go back.

This cabin was very sweet and nestled away on beautiful Nichols Lake. The setting is private and very quiet, though if the other cabins are rented know that there is one cabin directly next door. There are lots of opportunities for relaxing outside and enjoying the North Woods. The cabin is small, but had everything you'd need for a relaxing retreat into the woods! We loved our stay and would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay at the cabin! We went for a long weekend with our large family. There was more than enough space for all of us, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and was huge, and even though the weather was crummy we still had enough things to keep the kids entertained inside! We rented a pontoon and had easy access to the lake. The hosts were responsive and answered all of our questions along the way. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a great time in the north woods. The cabin was very clean and well equipped with kitchen utensils. Parking may be a challenge if you are pulling more than a 2 place snowmobile trailer. Overall great experience, we look forward to renting again in the future.

Our stay at this sweet, cozy cabin was very enjoyable. The location was easy access to all we wanted to do. We kayaked the beautiful little lake, road the amazing paved bike trail and hiked the forest trails. After an active day we came back to relax either on the porch facing the lake or in front of the fireplace. We appreciated the WIFI and the very comfortable beds. Good sleep is an important factor! It was apparent how much effort had been put into the appearance of the cabin. Everything was of high quality, very clean and updated. Top notch. The fall peak colors were amazing and the weather perfect. There are several other cottages and I can see how it could be a busier place during prime season but for us it was serene and quiet with only one other couple occupying the cottage next door. Mike checked in with us to make sure everything was to our liking. He was very sweet when he learned we had a bit of a car problem and checked to make sure we got home alright. Thanks Mike!

This is the perfect “Northwoods” place. Had everything needed to enjoy a week of relaxation. Did have a scare upon arrival as my navigation system took me to the wrong place at first - let’s just say James’s place is much nicer than where navigation stopped me initially. The road to the cabin was a bit bumpy but kind of added to the experience. Overall, a great stay!

Great spot on the lake, hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating but also very respectful of our privacy. Plenty of room in the cabin and everything worked properly. Would definitely stay here again.
