Monthly Rentals in Gibberyd

As the Germans imagine Småland! You feel immersed in the books that are probably the reason for the trip for many. The house is nostalgically furnished but technically modernly equipped. We were able to make ourselves really comfortable. The extremely friendly contact with Monica has also contributed to the comfort. When it gets cold outside, you take the axe and blow logs for the stove from the firewood, which is stored in a (of course red) shed. Monica has taken us a fun but also detailed tour through and around the house, so that no questions have remained unanswered in terms of amenities and possibilities. Be sure to use the little rowing boat! There is a small island where you can get shipwrecked:) For those traveling with children: there is a flush toilet outside. So the kids have no reason to come in when they have to sit in the shed again;)

the house is relatively secluded in the forest near a lake, very peaceful and quiet. it is possible to boat on the lake, which is very nice. the sunset over the lake was also very nice. everything was very quiet and tranquil, the starry sky with very little light pollution showed a pretty Milky Way. the house itself had everything you need, was quite spacious. the bed was large and comfortable, the living room had enough spaces to eat and rest. The pretty winter garden has a fireplace, which allows cozy evenings by the fire. The storage in the entrance was also appreciated. By car, we get to Eksjö in about 20 minutes (go through the north for a less stony road), we are well placed for visiting the region. Our only regret was not spending more time in this beautiful place. Christoffer was also responsive if you had any questions, everything went very well.

We had a great stay at Jonatan's place. The apartment is very cosy and in close proximity to Astrid Lindgrens Värld. We highly recommend it, happy to come back.

We got a warm welcome in the house. Mark, Ellen and their parents were amazing and so so kind. We got a lot of good tips and they helped out with everything. The wood around the house is miraculous. We enjoyed the garden and the huge wooden terrace. The bathing place nearby is ideal with smaller kids to play and for the adults to swim. We did trips to Vimmerby and Astrid Lidgrens World and to Bästervik to the cost. I cannot think of anything we would have missed. Ellen, Mark and all of your family: Thank you so much!
