Living in a farmhouse

You will stay on the first floor of the newly converted farm building of an old farm. Large garden with paddock and 3 horses on a small stream. Don't be afraid of free-range chickens and our herding dog Jule. There is a bookable sauna and a small swimming pool. Seating area with fireplace in the garden free of charge. Cost for sauna is an additional €15 per sauna session for 2 people only by arrangement on site. Walking with the horses can also be booked.

This type of house is known as " ein Heuerhaus'. It was built in 1883 and is one of the few remaining such houses in the area. We renovated it in the late1980's and it is recognised as a National Monument. The area we converted into the appartment for our guests, was originally used for storing the hay and straw for the animals winter fodder The house is surrounded by a large garden and uninterrupted view of the countryside.

The trailer is located on a farm in a village location on a 1.3-hectare property. Lake Ucker is about 500 m away as the crow flies (road longer!) Prenzlau is just under 2 km away. In the main house, there is a small guest kitchen and a private shower room. Perfect to escape the stress of the city!

We had a great stay at Fritzi's. At Easter, the apartment was lovingly decorated and there were fresh flowers on the table. Communication worked out great. The apartment was very clean. For our son, it was a highlight to be able to feed the chickens. All in all, a successful stay!

Wow, rarely stayed in such a lovingly and wonderfully equipped accommodation! We rented the entire house with 12 people (6 adults, 6 children). The actual layout of the bedrooms was not entirely clear to us at the beginning, which is not really apparent in the description. Thus, until check-in, the exciting question remained: Does everyone really get a place to sleep as they imagine it? :) In the end, we had enough space and retreats for 3 families. We didn't miss anything, the beds were comfortable, there was enough toilet paper (we've experienced otherwise), cuddly towels, enough cooking utensils, nice dishes, great bathrooms, nice garden... I could list more... we felt at home!!

We had a wonderful time at the farm over New Year's Eve as a family with a toddler. Very child-friendly, travel cot and high chair was available and plenty of space and many animals who made the escape from Berlin over New Year's Eve a great experience in nature. Especially the delicious and regional farm products construction of the vending machine or the farm shop you have to try! We will be happy to come back next time in summer!

We really enjoyed our stay in Krombach! The amenities are really excellent and leave nothing to be desired. This place is a real paradise, especially for families with children. The many different animals right on the farm provide a real farm feeling, and our children had a lot of fun discovering and playing. Peggy was incredibly nice and helpful. She gave us many useful tips on what to do with children in the area. She was also always there when we needed something. Another big plus is the yard itself. It is designed so that the children can play without having to constantly keep an eye on them (3-sided courtyard with closed gates). This has relieved us as parents very much and allowed us to enjoy the time even more. Overall, we highly recommend this apartment! We will definitely be back!

Troll House Red: Adventure vacation on the farm

We (2 adults, 2 children) had a wonderful weekend in the snow at Andrea's in the red troll house. The lounge is always cozy and warm with a pellet stove and the kids loved cleaning the plush pony. Less than 10 minutes away, there is a small ski lift on the Auerberg for €5 a day, which was perfect for learning to ski. We were lucky that a ski course was even offered this weekend. But also on the Tegelberg there are great opportunities for skiers or tobogganers. Also at the farm we could play great in the snow and even when it rained Andrea showed us a covered riding arena where the children could romp around. We were also allowed to meet the animals and everyone was very nice and open and helpful. We will definitely come back.
