The place is nice and cozy. The contents are complete including a kitchen as well as dining and cooking equipment available. The furnishings are also in good condition. Close to various good food vendors. Highly recommended for those who want to vacation in Banyuwangi.

It was a wonderful week. At first we planned to spend only 4 days in this house, but the way the girl who takes care of the house took care of us made us feel cared for and cozy. We liked it so much that we stayed for another 3 days. She was the best assistant in all matters and helped with everything. Many thanks to the owners of the house and the girl Mila for this vacation. The house is really nice, we lived in a huge room with an exit to the courtyard, right to the pool. We had a large kitchen with many tools and utensils. Everything was gorgeous.

What a wonderful place - a true little paradise. We rented scooters near the train station of Banyuwangi, which made us flexible. It’s a dreamy cottage, which also gives a cosy place to read and relax, also if it rains (we were there in the raining season). The place is modern, clean and the shower is lovely! Thank you for all kindness.

We rented a room at the Turtle lodge. Very comfortable bed, aircon worked well, great shower, and plenty of nice places to sit around the lodge. We came for a few days of relaxation which was perfect. The staff are all incredibly nice and friendly. We visited the beach every day, the closest beach is 5 minutes walk away but is slightly challenging to swim in. You are often however the only people on the beach which is nice. Green Bay can be visited by renting a scooter from the lodge ($10 per day), which is nicer and calmer to swim. Plus it has a waterfall on the beach. This beach is a lot busier, and is also in the national park which we needed to pay $20 per person to enter. So there are upsides and downsides to each beach :) We didn’t do the sea turtle tour, for us it was a bit too pricey $160pp per night. Overall the stay at the lodge was great, as was the restaurant, and Poer Hadi was a friendly and helpful host.
