This cozy cottage is located directly on the waterfront on the Ottawa river in front of Mohr island. It's perfect for a couple or small family retreat away from the city. You can relax by the water on the deck in the hot tub, take an adventure in one of the kayak’s or enjoy a campfire while watching the stars with the supplied firewood. A canoe and two kayaks with 4 lifejackets are available for guests and are included with your rental. Unfortunatly our place is not dog friendly.

Celebrated our 1 year anniversary with a kid free staycation at Deanna’s. From the friendly greeting, to the escape into the tropical palapas, to the 2hr scenic kayak ride we took and relaxing by the fire. We couldn’t have been more comfortable and relaxed. Thank you for the great experience we will definitely be back.

It’s a cozy lovely house that’s in front of lake, the bathroom is a little bit small but in general the house is clean. Dinning room is the most beautiful place for us to stay. Nancy gave us the clear instructions. I did have good time with my friends at their place this weekend.

My second time staying at this Airbnb! Sandy and her husband are very friendly and the communication was always great! Sandy’s place is very spacious and we absolutely loved being right on the Ottawa River, the suite is very close to a few restaurants (we had dinner at THE POINT was very yummy) nearby although Kanata is only 30 minutes away will definitely come again. Thanks, Sandy.☺️

We enjoyed our stay very much. The place was even nicer in person compared to the photos. Great attention to detail. The beds were very comfortable with softer & firmer pillows. The wood stove by the big TV and cushy couch was great. The hot tub was amazing. Lake side view off the deck was very nice. Strongly recommend. We’d love to come back.

The house has everything, clean kitchen and bathroom, up to date appliances, and most importantly, a view so beautiful that watching the clouds roll in every day cured all worries. Kelly’s place felt like Grandma’s Cottage, in all of the best ways possible. It felt like a home away from home. Everything is well thought out, with touches of vintage decor and boardgames. It felt like a blast from my childhood and was really special watching my son play with toys I would have played with as a young kid. My whole family felt comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, bonfires and cute town of Wakefield. We would definitely recommend and would rent again!
