Beautiful lakeside cottage, hot tub, all seasons

Back after two years away! Family-oriented lakeside cottage with all the amenities. Not suitable for large gatherings or parties. Noise must be kept to a minimum outside after 23:00 to respect neighbors. We offer fast wifi, A/C, 4-season hot tub, dishwasher, wood stove, canoe, paddleboard. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, crib, equipped kitchen, two secret play rooms for kids, Bell TV, etc. Quiet lake, no motor boats. Dogs need to be on leash due to abundant wildlife. $50 surcharge for dogs.

This cozy cottage is located directly on the waterfront on the Ottawa river in front of Mohr island. It's perfect for a couple or small family retreat away from the city. You can relax by the water on the deck in the hot tub, take an adventure in one of the kayak’s or enjoy a campfire while watching the stars with the supplied firewood. A canoe and two kayaks with 4 lifejackets are available for guests and are included with your rental. Unfortunatly our place is not dog friendly.

Wakefield waterfront on the Gatineau river. Great views of and only a few steps from the iconic covered bridge and a short walk to restaurants, pubs and cafes. Two fireplaces, two decks, and plenty of parking. This is a brand new home that we are sure you will enjoy. Respectful, courteous guests only. The magnificent views from the home and the two large decks come with some effort and this vacation paradise is not recommended for those with mobility issues.

This place is simply magical. So much attention to detail and not just Indoors about also in the outdoor space. The home is cozy and the sunsets are divine. My family stayed there for Easter and played games, threw the football around, and fed the goats. What more could you ask for? Highly recommend (and I’ve stayed in.a lot of airbnbs internationally). Even if you are local to Ottawa, you will feel as though you have taken a vacation at this space!

Deanna was a wonderful host and thought of every minor detail. Everything was very organized. Very peaceful location for camping. We loved having access to a hot tub with a beautiful sunset view of the Ottawa river. We also opted to use the kayaks which was a very fun and unforgettable experience. Dayna and David are INCREDIBLE hosts. They took care of every detail and looked after us when we were effectively snowed in. Their home is creative, beautiful, peaceful, spacious. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. The whole neighbourhood is gorgeous and talk about lovely people! We want to come back in the summer. And the sauna! Let me tell you, in the winter, this was the sweetest treat. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience and how we were treated - like close friends. They get my highest recommendation.

Amazing property and hosts. Erin & Sadique were extremely responsive and answered all our questions. They even provided a high chair for my daughter on request. The property is expansive and you will truly feel like you have a private lake. The living room is so spacious and the wood makes it feel cozy despite the big size. The rooms are top notch much much better than your average Air BnB sinking mattresses. The bathroom in the main bedroom on the ground floor is just amazing. Our group made full use of the hot tub, easily accommodated 5 at a time and was the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend this place!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The place was even nicer in person compared to the photos. Great attention to detail. The beds were very comfortable with softer & firmer pillows. The wood stove by the big TV and cushy couch was great. The hot tub was amazing. Lake side view off the deck was very nice. Strongly recommend. We’d love to come back.
