Monthly Rentals in Garsdale

Well, what can I say? This is by far the loveliest cottage we've stayed in via Airbnb. 5-stars all around and Sally and Tony were very responsive hosts if we had a question. The minute we walked in we felt right at home. There was a welcome hamper and a Christmas tree. The photos do not do it justice. Everything is top quality, and the cottage is larger than it looks in the photos. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and warm. Everything was squeaky clean and the log burner was very welcome after some drizzly and foggy days. Shower is amazing. I can't find a single fault with this cottage. The location is very peaceful and there are lots of walks from the door. Garsdale Train Station is a 5-minute walk up the road, so it is easy to get a train to somewhere if you don't want to use a car. Highly recommend this cottage. You won't be disappointed.

This was our second time staying here and we had a brilliant week. It is such a lovely cottage, equipped with everything we could need and set in beautiful surroundings. Jacky is so welcoming and friendly and we look forward to returning. One of our favourite places to stay, for sure!

Mary and Johnny were amazing hosts! They were super helpful and went above and beyond! The house itself is just an interior dream! Super cosy / warm and homely. Beautiful views in every direction! Although a little out of Sedbergh, lots of walks across the way and not far from Kendal! Easy access to lake Windermere and other locations. We have two little ones and were able to find lots to do daily ( especially in the garden ). We had food twice in Ravenstonedale in the kings head which is a 10/15min drive! ( well worth it) Thank you for letting us bring our 🐶 Thank you so much for everything! We will be back! Xxx

Really great stay here. Peaceful location. traffic is very light for a roadside location. there was a small field that was great for my dog to walk along early morning or late night to do his ablutions. Simon was very friendly and helpful.
