Our stay at this Family Resort Oasis was nothing short of incredible! The backyard was hands-down our favorite feature—from relaxing in the covered hot tub and dozing off in the hammock to winding down around the firepit, every moment was pure bliss. The entire Host Team was easy to reach, incredibly accommodating, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We loved it so much that when the chance came to extend our stay, we jumped on it! The neighborhood felt extremely safe and welcoming, which gave us great peace of mind—especially knowing a police officer lived just down the street. That was a big deal for us, as we were in town for work and had a large trailer full of valuable equipment. We’ll be working in the area frequently and plan to book this place multiple times a year. Huge thanks to Mona and George for always making us feel right at home!

Fit our needs for the weekend

We spent a few days at this property for my mom’s birthday. Anna and her husband were quick to respond and very accommodating, I don’t think I’ve ever had a host be so accommodating and thoughtful. The house was clean, comfortable, and really close to the seawall. The hot tub stayed hot the entire time all you need to do is enjoy. Anna thoughtfully brought over surprise cupcakes for my mom’s 51st birthday and even permitted us to have a few guests. I would recommend this house and any other property hosted by Anna and her husband.

Lady Galvez is a superb property and one of many amazing short term rental options available with St. Gemma Properties in beautiful - historic Galveston. The owner Pam and her team are amazing! Responsive, knowledgeable and truly passionate about the business of hosting vacation stays. For my family and friends this was a real treat. A short 3 minute walk to the seawall places you in the center of all things Galveston. Some of the best beaches on the island and close to the famous pleasure pier (formerly the historic Flagship Hotel) plenty of jetties to enjoy at sunset and sunrise. That and shops and restaurants galore. The owner is a dog lover so the property is dog friendly. The house is spacious and well designed for both gatherings and time to chill and unwind. The 2 car garage is a huge bonus for parking cars and storing beach gear. The kitchen is chef ready and the AC units are sized correctly to insure a cool recovery from the hot afternoons. 🥶🥰🙏

This lovely property was ideal for our family gathering! It was clean, up-to-date and a great location. The 7 bedrooms and 4.5 baths were a big draw for our family and it all worked out perfectly for us. I would highly recommend it and will definitely rent it again when the time arises. Maura’s beach house in Bolivar beach was a great stay, and even better experience! Such easy access to the beach, and the pool was a great way to cool off right after the beach. My family and I couldn’t have been happier!

Every detail had been considered—from the well-stocked kitchen to the abundance of toys that kept our kids happy for hours. The location is stunning, tucked away in a peaceful spot but still just a short walk to the beach. It truly felt like a hidden gem. We’ve stayed at many Airbnbs over the years, but this one easily tops the list. It was super clean, beautifully maintained, and full of small, thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. If you're looking for a relaxing, family-friendly getaway with charm, comfort, and style, look no further. We’re already planning our next trip back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful unit! The house had everything we needed and kept our family entertained during the entire stay! The pool was a family favorite and so was the short walk to the beach! The only major issue was not having water for the first day of our stay, but the host was great with communication throughout.

This was a beautiful home and we enjoyed our stay. We experienced stormy weather the entire time and fought the infamous mosquitos however the house offered plenty of room to roam and the beautiful ocean front view kept us entertained. We would definitely stay here again.

The place was absolutely beautiful and very clean . Communication with Tyler was easy even at night when we had trouble turning on the fire pit . I will definitely book again in the future.

Gabriel’s place was absolutely perfect for our trip! The house was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Gabriel was an amazing host super friendly and even left out snacks for us, which was such a nice touch. The location couldn’t have been better just minutes from the beach and all the fun attractions. There was also plenty of parking, which made things easy for our family. We had a great experience and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area!

My family and friends truly enjoyed our stay. The place was absolutely beautiful, spotless, and well-maintained. We had more than enough bath and beach towels, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. We would definitely love to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Our stay during Mardi Gras was even better than I hoped! The spacious home is true to period and tastefully decorated. The rooms are bigger than appeared in the photos, and flow easily throughout the house. 7 of us with 2 bathrooms worked out just fine. Bathrooms and bedrooms are large with full size dressers and closets, game room is spacious even with multiple beds. The living room, dining room and kitchen have plenty of room and seating. Little extras made us feel as we were guests in someone's home - a coffee bar with matching mugs, k-cups, cream, sugar, etc; lovely plastic wine glasses (for outdoor), extra coffee makers, a large array of pots/pans/utensils. It was 40* in February, so we didn't use the pool or upstairs patio but they look lovely. Great location. Communication was great from start to finish - had an issue with the heat when we first arrived and it was taken care of right away! Highly responsive and accommodating hosts, we definitely plan to stay again!

We had an amazing stay at this beach house! The location was perfect with just about a 5-minute walk to the beach, which made it super convenient to go back and forth throughout the day. Margaritaville was only about 10 minutes down the road, and was nice to visit for the day if you want to enjoy a pool and drinks! Both a grocery store and a corner store were just a short drive away, which made getting stuff we forgot at home, easy! The house itself was exactly as advertised — everything was very clean and looked just like it did in the listing. The kitchen was very well-stocked with every utensil you could possibly need, making it easy to cook whatever we wanted. The owner was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made the whole experience even better. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient beach getaway. I’ll definitely be coming back later this year!

We enjoyed our stay at A Beach Away. The beach was one block - easily walkable. The house was clean and instructions were clear, and the bedrooms/bathrooms configuration worked well for our purposes. The large kitchen and bar had everything we needed and was open to the living and dining areas allowing everyone to hang out together. The view from the porch and first floor was as good as could be expected from a block back at the beach. The first floor bedroom lacks a closet, but who needs hanging clothes at the beach anyway? Bring your own games/books in case it rains. Overall an enjoyable stay offered by a responsive host. Thanks Shawn!

Great house steps from the beach. Something to note if traveling with a group the upstairs is a loft and the noise from the kids room upstairs travels. Host was friendly and helpful. A couple of minor issues that would make it a nicer stay but overall great for our family getaway.

We have now stayed at this house two times and we love it! We love being able to walk quickly to the beach and have plenty of space. The house had everything we needed and more. The host was very responsive to our needs!
