House vacation rentals in Galveston Seawall

We had such a great time! The highlights: the location! It is even closer to the beach than it appears on the map. I am so happy we didnt waste our time and energy on a golf cart- since it was so easy to pull the wagon down to the beach with the chairs, towels, and toys. The house had a great layout and the downstairs area is so great for kids. I feel like the house could use a few extra towels just because you use so many between the beach, outdoor shower, then real shower and with so many people, we ended up washing the towels so often. But that being said- there were beach towels provided and plenty of shower towels also- this is just me being nitpicky since we use a lot of towels on a beach trip. Brandon was so great to communicate with and helpful to any request. All in all, would definitely stay here again!!

We had a very enjoyable 4 days in Taras beautiful home. Tara did a tremendous job she thought of everything that a family would need including the above ground pool/toys /beach. Very clean and relaxing. We felt very comfortable and safe. We will definitely go back.

Great stay for families with kids and teenagers. Lots to do and close to the beach and Pleasure Pier. Lots of common space to hang out and socialize.

We had 75 degree weather and rain for 5 days straight in July. Who would have thought?! Having the hot tub and fire pit really saved the trip for us. We did make it down to the beach each day for a couple hours but it was rainy and cool so we came back and warmed up in the hot tub. House was very clean and had a great selection of beach toys to borrow. Terrible mosquitos, but I think thats normal for the area and the amount of rain. Overall we had a nice time and would return. This place was awesome. Plenty of room and felt like home. Everything was all we needed n more. Everyone loved it. Especially the kids. The game room n pool wete perfect. Recommend to anyone n everyone, you will not be disappointed!!!

We had a great stay at Travis‘splace. It was very clean and stocked very well with lots of spacious room and plenty to do with the kids in the area. And the Pool was a big plus for the girls. Travis was very responsive to all of our questions and our needs. would definitely stay there again. Thanks Travis.

Well stay here again - already making plans!

My daughter and I stayed at this adorable house for a girls’ Galveston weekend. We just loved it. So cute and decorated so well. Neighborhood is nice and quiet and 3 blocks from the beach and close to the action. What a delight!!!!

What a great place! Worked so well for our family! We had 4 adults and two little kids and everyone slept comfortably and there was still more space. The process for checking in, checking out, and how everything worked was very streamlined. Communication was great! We were worried we might not make it because of a tropical depression, and Jerry was communicating back and forth with me prior to the stay. They provided all the items you might need including some items I hadn’t had at a stay before (think hotel stays). The proximity to the beach was great, not a “beachfront” but pretty darn close. There were many times I had to go back for and didn’t want to take the vehicle, easy walk. Would stay here again for sure!!

Jeff's home is absolutely beautiful!! The deck overlooking the canal with high end outdoor furniture is the place to be. Time & attention was taken in creating this retreat. As a designer I was impressed! What's even better is how easy it is to work with Jeff! He is very kind, accommodating, and communicative. We had special needs (specifically for the elevator) and when he learned there was a problem with it prior to our arrival that day, he already had a repairman on the way and resolved it very quickly. It is obvious that Jeff cares about his guests!

Super clean, had everything we could ask for. Was so nice to have access to clean laundry facilities at house too before we went onto our next stop. Wifi was good and we were able to work remote when needed. The beach was a quick walk away and the neighborhood was quiet and pleasant. House is exactly as described, super well maintained, well furnished and clean. Rich was a wonderful host. He gave clear explanations for everything.

My friend and I really enjoyed staying here! The beds were both unbelievably comfortable and the showers had good water pressure. The couch was also comfortable. We were able to easily walk to the beach, pleasure pier and some very good restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!!

My friends and I did a Book Retreat while at this home and it was complete perfection for accommodating six women. This home had everything we needed and then some. I would definitely return to this property when visiting Galveston again with friends.

Our Easter stay was amazing, it was not only fun but so relaxing too. We packed soo much but didn’t even have to, Misty&Kyle’s place had everything! The house was extremely clean and such an at home feel. The kids woke up and had a fishing tournament and my 6yo won! They caught crabs, croaker, black drum, pin fish and more. It was soo cool to watch the schools of fish at night before bed. I was nervous the kids would get very gross while fishing but they have plenty of water spouts around the home and the out door shower was soo handy from fishing and the beach, my kids didn’t even use the indoor shower! The outdoor seating was awesome too. If we are to stay in Galveston again we will def not even have to search for a different stay, we would love to come back right here ! We will also pack very light because we had everything we needed. We didn’t get a chance to use the kayaks because my kids and aunt just got straight into the canal and floated around. I cannot wait to come back !

Perfect place - was exactly as described. The host gave us very clear instructions and was responsive when we had questions. Would recommend to others and would stay here again if we come back to Galveston. We had 6 people and it was perfect size and comfortable

Everything was wonderful. Wish we could have stayed a few days more. With all you need like a small oven so you can do your own cooking if you like. Beautiful little place with almost all we needed. The only thing I feel is missing is a small dresser for clothes. Bigs thanks to Michael & Ashley for a great little place.

The stay was nothing but amazing. From the communication to the beautiful home, it was perfect. It accommodated all of our needs! The house was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed our stay very much on our first time to Galveston. Definitely recommend.

The house is gorgeous and it has the most amazing views. Sunrise from the master bedroom windows was the highlight of each morning. The owners were helpful and very responsive - we had one or two small issues at checkin that they handled immediately. We loved the closet of board games! The area is quiet and there is only one grocery store but it had everything we needed. We didn’t go to any local restaurants. A few things to consider: the listing says 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. This is true but one bedroom and bathroom is in an apartment downstairs so it wouldn’t be good for kids. It is a longer walk than it appears to the beach. It was fine for me and the kids but would’ve been way too far for someone with mobility challenges. The kitchen wasn’t as stocked as I had hoped (no real glass wine glasses, only plastic, not a lot of silverware, short supply of spatulas etc). Finally, there were no amenities for the beach, no buckets or shovels, no beach towels, so pack your own.

Everything went wonderful for us to last minute book.

We really enjoyed our stay. One room had a little bit of sand in the bed but the home was comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with dishes and other things needed.

We enjoyed our stay at Michael’s place. The house was beautiful and absolutely perfect. The host was responsive if we needed anything at all. House was perfectly situated walking distance to beach for our family. We will definitely book here again!

Our party of six loved this house. It was in an excellent location and there was nothing misleading from their advertisement of the home. The owners responded very quick to any of our inquiries! Would definitely visit this home again!

Enjoyed our stay, close to all the best dining spots. We didn't have perfect weather during our stay, but we had a very relaxing time. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. We liked how there was plenty of lighting along the stairways leading up to the house. Will keep this one our list of places to stay again.
