Very clean, accomodating, and well equipped. My family and I had a great weekend getaway! Will definately recommend this location to others and would love to return ourselves.

Pleasant stay. Family oriented. Clean unit. Very nice and helpful staff. The pool and the lake were great to have on site. The highway was a bit loud at times in this particular unit. Not horrible… but noticeable. We were facing it directly. I would select a different unit next time.

This was our third stay at Josh’s property. We love it! It’s comfy and quiet.and not too far from home. We didn’t get to fish this time because the pond was frozen so we hit a lot of flea markets! We even found a Friday night auction!😁 I highly recommend Josh’s cottage.

Great stay! Fantastic riverside location!

We had a great stay. We wanted to be close to Cape Girardeau and it was about a 20 minute drive that was a pretty easy drive. Everything was so well laid out at the house. We went with my inlaws and they stayed in the upper half and we stayed in the lower half which gave us our own "escape". We weren't at the house a whole lot, although I wish we would have had more time there to just relax. Looking forward to booking next year's trip already. My inlaws loved the sun room and relaxed and read in there. The day before check-out, they were all in for another trip there for the following year. Thank you for a great stay.

Lucy was very communicative abouts the house and activities and attractions nearby. She was very responsive. The house worked very well for our family of 5 with the three baths and two full showers. Nice deck off the back of the house with a couch, table and umbrella and gas grill. We really enjoyed the nice fire pit and big yard and my kids loved the cows right across the street!

This place is great, exactly as described. Properly connects to ATV trails on the power-line easement. We enjoyed the trails. Steve and Jennifer were very flexible and understanding. We would come back again!

Perfect getaway for me and my husband. We will definitely be back with our kids in the summer to utilize the pool. Bring pur kayaks and take them out. Love this place and its location. Linda was so helpful. Meeting us where we were to take us to the location when we were lost. Thank you Linda for your hospitality!
