Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Fredericksburg

We have stayed at this property twice and have really enjoyed it each time. It’s well laid out, clean, and feels like a loved home and not a quick turn rental. The location on the lake is great and being waterfront is so much fun!

Wonderful stay! Adorable home in Old Town Alexandria-we stayed the week between Christmas and New Years-family if 5 with 2 teens and a preteen, and the house was PERFECT for our family. Great location to DC, without the traffic if DC to come back to every day.

Our family had an extended stay at Kevin’s place, when we had to be out or our home for asbestos removal over Christmas. The hosts made our arrival extra special and it truly felt like a home away from home. The kids had so much fun using the indoor s’mores maker that came fully stocked. As well as the games and outdoor toys. The whole house was also decorated for the holidays! Jason and Kelly made sure to check on us throughout our stay making sure we knew when trash day was and keeping our stay very smooth. We loved the electric fireplace and the house was very clean and cozy. The photos are very accurate. Location can’t be beat, minutes to everything in Culpeper but still quiet. Big backyard for the kids to play in. We were all a little sad when it was time to leave. Jump on this place if you have the chance to visit! You won’t be disappointed.

This house is in a gorgeous setting with great views. We were greeted by a beautiful horse coming over to check us out as we turned in the driveway. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and spread across 3 levels and above the detached garage which gave an unusually good balance of togetherness and privacy. The kitchen was well equipped. The extra game table in the great room got a lot of use on a frigid winter weekend. The hosts were very responsive and even brought over firewood before our stay when we inquired about where we could purchase. This is very close to towns and wineries but feels bucolic and peaceful. Highly recommend DuCard Winery where we spent a fabulous afternoon hanging out with live music, food, and wine.

Great place to stay. Very close to Washington DC and all major activities in DC less than a nine minute drive to the closest Metro station on the orange and silver line. I used East Falls Church Metro Station many times during my stay the neighborhood was very quiet and well maintained the homea spacious and as advertised. I really use a chest as a place to crash after a full day in DC with kids for a family of four, there is enough space to accommodate everyone in the living room and bedrooms.

Harrison was very accomodating and flexible to our needs. He was excellent in regards to communication. The beds were comfortable and the place was immaculate. Although we didn't use the kitchen it has everything you need. We frequented the nearby Roost/ food court. Thank you Harrison for a great stay.

Our family including 2 dogs stayed at Irene's place in January. We needed to escape for a few nights. Since it was the off season at Lake Anna, it was very quiet and peaceful which is what we were hoping for. We had dinner at Tim's at Lake Anna Restaurant & Crabhouse which is open all year. Dinner and drinks were also amazing!

Jen’s place is perfect for an escape from the public, while close enough to Shenandoah and Charlottesville and Culpeper for adventures. She was extremely attentive and responsive, making us feel welcome from the start. Would recommend to anyone.

We enjoyed our stay here. John was responsive and the place was very clean and comfortable to stay at for the week.

Hudson’s place exceeded our expectations. Quick two day trip to DC with family who’ve never been. Easy to find. On street parking pass. The apartment was well appointed. Everyone had their own space. Easy walk to delicious and diverse dining options. The walk to the metro was 10-15 minutes. Hudson was an excellent host. We plan on returning!

We loved our stay at "Enchanted" as artists, my husband and I appreciated the charming bohemian decor -- there were so many interesting objects and works of art, it was like visiting a favorite eccentric aunt or uncle's house with a new visual delight to discover in every corner. But don't think the place is cluttered, it is neat as a pin with a tidy little kitchen stocked with thoughtful snacks (microwave popcorn!) The bathroom has a heavenly tub with all sorts of creams and soaps if you are in need - everything visually appealing and welcoming. Becky is a five star host, responsive, helpful and overall a pleasure to deal with, the neighborhood is lovely and quiet with on the street parking right in front of the house. If you're looking for for a cozy hideaway -- check into Enchanted :)

Hospitality was amazing. Rob went above and beyond to make sure we had everything that we needed. Great location, easy to access public transportation. we felt very safe. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed staying at Elizabeth's sweet DC Airbnb! The apartment is smartly laid out and has an open/airy floor plan to it, with no clutter. There is a wonderful electric fireplace we could cozy up to while watching one of her DVD's (WKRP IN Cincinnati). The bed is super comfy and the walk to the Metro was just 25 minutes away. It was great to be able to use stainless steel pans too, instead of the awful peeling Teflan that some places still have. There are great coffee shops close by! Thank you Elizabeth!

Our hosts were very communicative and accommodating! All our cooking and sleeping needs were fulfilled as well as clear instructions to make the most out of our trip! One of the best stays we’ve had and would def book again in the near future for another getaway/gathering!

Repeat stay for my family. Just as amazing as the first time. Tranquil forest location. Dogs really enjoyed exploring the outdoors. Wood burning fireplace was so cozy during the during the cold weather. If you’re looking for a perfect spot to unplug and enjoy nature this is it.

We loved our stay in Alison’s home! The cabin was adorable and had everything we needed. It was private and quaint but we still felt very safe. The fire pit was great and the stargazing was beautiful!

This place is awesome. The cabin was perfect along with the mountains and peaceful views. Spent nights gazing at the stars and mornings taking in the mountain air while hiking at sunrise. And really enjoyed family walks down to the private watering hole. A magical trip full of laughter and memories for my family and I. Would love to come back. Thanks again. Would definitely come back! We had a very lovely stay, it was the perfect cozy cabin vibes. Property felt very private, clean, organized and the place was just as pictured. Instructions for finding the location were very straightforward. The host was also very quick to respond when needed.

Angela’s cabin was absolutely wonderful. The location is beautiful set in the woods with a view of the river and access to it as well. Kitchen was stocked with cooking necessities and Walmart was nearby so we were able to cook. Angela was so communicative and a pleasure to deal with. We brought our puppy who absolutely loved the outdoor space and it was a great stay for all of us.
