Fredericksburg vacation rentals

We had a great stay in the cabin. It was very clean and Lisa was very responsive. The surroundings of the house are beautiful and really peaceful. Nice fire pit by the river and beautiful views from the cabin. The kitchen is new and has everything you need! It was a cold weekend with freezing temperatures, so the only “minor issue” is that the heating equipment is in the living room so we had to keep the bedroom and bathroom doors open too keep the temperature acceptable during the night.

The house was great! It had everything we needed to enjoy the long weekend. I would suggest packing water shoes for the little ones. We did not and left with a couple cuts but nothing serious.

Margie was great. She introduced herself to my son and I right when we got there. The accommodations were excellent. Beds were super comfy and everything was very clean. House sits right on a small lake in a very nice neighborhood.

The house was cozy, accommodating and clean. The beds were very comfortable and linens were clean. It was quiet and the beach was just a short walk/golf cart ride away. If I had to make any slightly negative comment, it would be to provide more wash cloths and towels. But that was a very small detail and we just washed and reused what we had, no big deal. The owner was responsive to all our questions and accommodated a last-minute booking for us. We would definitely book this property with this owner again!

This home was beautiful, wonderful, and relaxing. The view from the house is so gorgeous and secluded. You really feel like you are on vacation. Of course our host was responsive and proactive. But as a busy mom with two little kids I have to highlight how particularly child friendly this home is! We stayed upstairs which has 2 bedrooms with a jack and Jill bath in between. My boys loved having two single beds at a height they could easily get into and I loved not worrying about them falling out of a gigantic bed. There were toys in the chest of their room with working batteries! Unreal! There was a mini table and chairs. Games and books spanned multiple ages and both my 4 yo and my 6 yo found games to play. My kids are sensitive to cold water (the little one turns blue!) and the heated pool was a HUGE hit. We never even made it to using the kayaks because the kids just wanted to be in the pool. There were even pool toys. I am running out of characters for this review! We will be back!

My husband and I stayed there with another couple for an extended weekend. The place had everything we needed. The he drive to the cabin was a bit challenging because of recent snow fall. Definitely plan to drive an AWD/4WD vehicle. On our last night, we lost power from another snow storm, but made the best of the situation. The owner kept in contact with us throughout and offered another additional night that we sadly declined. I would definitely stay here again!

The place and environment were gorgeous! the hot tub was a great place to relax in! The grill and fire pit were amazing amenities even in the colder weather! Host was always very responsive and helpful! Pictures are equivalent to what the place actually looks like! Close enough to a store center to get any grocery or fire wood! Great get away spot for a weekend alone with a partner or even with family!

Lovely rental. The listing was exactly as described. The host responded very quickly to any questions. It had everything we needed and I felt very at home. This is an amazing location we will definitely be coming back for more fun here in the summer. The hot tub felt hot and relaxing outside even though it was so cold. 5 stars.

We were looking for a cozy winter getaway and Matt's place did not disappoint. The check-in was seamless and upon entering we were blown away by the attention to detail. We had plenty of space to unpack for the four nights we stayed and felt right at home. The appliances and devices were very modern and we were able to easily connect to the smart TV's for streaming, adjust the ambient temperature to our comfort and cook indulgent meals effortlessly in the kitchen. Matt was very communicative. I adjusted my reservation last minute to include my dog and before I could even go to the app to send him a follow-up message the request was already approved. I unfortunately ended up leaving my medication and Matt promptly shipped it to me. The place itself was a perfect mix of spacious and cozy and the decor definitely helped with that. The hosts clearly put a lot of work into their place and it showed. Everything felt very easy. Definitely exceeded our expectations. Thanks Matt!
