Family-friendly vacation rentals in Fowey

We booked this property over a year ago for a special family trip to celebrate a 60th birthday! There was plenty of room for us all & the dogs. The hot tub was lovely & us ‘adult kids’ really enjoyed it! Lots of room and it really felt like home from home. Roger was kind and patient. Thank you for hosting

we stayed here for 4 night early January while working in the area a.d felt very much at home dispite the freezing weather the home was warm. cosy and comfortable so.much so I'm booking again to come with the family

My husband, son and I had a lovely stay in Holl's property. Holls was extremely welcoming and communicative from tbe outset, with lots of great recommendations of activities and places to see. The property was perfectly located for us, within easy walking distance of Dartmoor National Park, where we enjoyed some great walks and rock scrambling around a picturesque quarry (Foggingtor). There are also two nice pubs in the village within a 5 minute walk, both of which we ate at during the stay and had some lovely food with generous portions. The hot tub was wonderful for unwinding in (and warming up) after our adventures on the Moors! The property is also in easy drive of a number of Tors, which our son especially loved climbing, and is also within easy driving distance for the many amenities in Plymouth and Tavistock. We enjoyed visiting The Box Museum in Plymoth which was free and had a great media exhibition. We would recommend Holls, she is a great host. Thank you.

Amazing view from the house. Rooms were spacious, especially kitchen area. Great location for families 5 or more people. Quick drive to the A30 (if you can fit through the bridge). Hot tub, with scones and Prosecco was an added bonus! Had a few minor issues, which Jeremy helped to rectify where he could. Definitely stay again!

Claire is a lovely host, messaged to let us know we could check-in early and also let us know we could check out later if we’d like. Very homely and peaceful stay.

Our stay at Orchard Cottage was magical. Lower Marsh Farm is a beautiful setting and really helped my partner and I to truly relax. The cottage was such a relaxing environment to come back to after exploring cornwall, and the hot tub really made it extra special. Olivia was a superb hostess, and greeted us and talked us through where we could find local amenities and checked if we had any requirements. We absolutely loved it here and will be returning :))

Had a fantastic stay in this quiet and peaceful part of Cornwall. The Shepherd hut had everything we needed, was very relaxing and the hot tub was a great bonus on top. Lucy was always proactive and quick with all communications ensuring we had the best time possible. The local area was a joy to explore even in the somewhat changeable weather. We would love to return in the spring or autumn and do a bit more walking but this trip was very much a rest, relax and recuperate break which exceeded our expectations.

The house was gorgeous, perfect location for walking to the beach & pubs. Had everything we could need & more when it came to cooking our Christmas dinner. There was even a Christmas tree! Only disappointment was the hot tub not working but these things happen. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay. So cosy and Karen had so thoughtfully designed and furnished the cottage! Comfortable bed, warm and cosy with a wood burning stove, fully fitted kitchen, spotless en suite and fluffy towels! The setting is peaceful and rural - we loved the wildlife, home pets and nature surrounded us - so unspoilt and very private but only minutes from both Falmouth and from Maenporth beach. It is an absolute treat to stay here and we hope to be back soon.

A lovely, warm place that's close to everything but still remarkably peaceful. Belinda's cottage is five minutes' walk from a cracking good pub, five minutes walk from the estuary and old quay, five minutes (slow) jog from the Coast to Coast trail and easily driveable to most places you'll want to go. There's plenty of room, everything you'll need and you can park right outside (or very nearly). And a huge thank you to Belinda for being so generous with local tips and advice.

Peaceful, cosy space and moments from everything. Porthleven is a dream for walkers and foodies. This is a gorgeous cottage to experience it all from.

Absolutely loved the cottage, such a lovely, homely place. Sharon kindly put the heating and the lights on for us before we arrived, which was really appreciated as we arrived with a little one & had to get him ready for bed straight away. We had everything we needed from the high chair & baby bath to even children’s toys, which our son loved! The pictures don’t do it justice & I couldn’t fault anything, will definitely be looking to come back in the future.

As a family of 8 & 3 generations celebrating Christmas & a special birthday, the farmhouse was simply magical. Will & Danni went above all our expectations with Christmas trees & selection boxes for the kids. The farm looked so beautiful with all the fairy lights & we found everything we needed to cook Christmas dinner for 12! Thank you so much for a simply amazing stay which allowed us to celebrate our first Christmas in six years as a family. We couldn’t recommend you highly enough & hope to be back in the future. The cottage is in a lovely location with great views from one of the double bedrooms and the conservatory and driveway. It felt very homely with the fire very useful, comfy sofas, thick stone walls. Kitchen is a little small but has everything needed, and has a spacious dining area attached. Comfortably fits 6, even 7 with sofa bed, though the two single bed mattresses feel a bit old. It was at a discounted price however with some more work said to be needed. Lovely woodland walk on the doorstep and coast very close. Very quiet and peaceful. Didn’t find pre-warned damp much of an issue. Amy was helpful and attentive though being in a different time zone. Appreciated the private space. A good find.

Very enjoyable stay at Roy’s loft. Ideal location with St Ives centre less than 10 minutes down the hill yet away from the crazy St Ives holiday traffic. Roy is a very friendly and helpful host.

This is a home from home, beach ready, plenty of hall space to stop trampling sand in from the great outdoors. This has been our best Christmas ever. It’s warm, homely, feels lovely. Kirsten and Ben are so amazing and helpful. The bed was so comfortable. All new appliances. Instructions in a folder for everything we needed to know. We had a reserved parking space and we don’t want to go home! We hope we will be back soon. The garden at the front is fenced off and great for the pups. I can only imagine how warm and private the front garden will be in the summer months! Hope to try out the pool in the summer months. Thank you for everything. We now have great memories back at Christmas time.

Hubby & I had a really relaxing long weekend. The apartment was so lovely & warm & cosy and I loved reading my books sitting on the window seat, looking out over the causeway. The apartment was extremely clean and it had everything that you could possibly need & it really felt like "home from home". This is a place to "switch off" from the world in peaceful surroundings. We didn't get to use the pool or the gym this time but they were extremely inviting. The whole complex is quiet & peaceful and with direct private access to the beach & café it's a "real little gem". The outlook across the causeway is incredible and I was completely spell bound by watching the waves and currents swish and swirl around. Even though our weekend was at the time of server gales & rain & even sleet, we were toasty, warm and comfortable. The café was really great to eat in as well. Our host was always available via messaging if we needed anything & the tv reception and Wifi was great. 100% we will return!

We had a lovely relaxing time at Caroline’s place. The lodge is very well equipped and beautifully appointed, even better than shown in the photos. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub and feeding the alpacas. 100% recommend.

We have just arrived home after a fantastic stay. The lodge was beautiful with everything that we needed. There is lots to do locally as well as in the resort. We enjoyed it so much that we have already booked for another stay in Easter. Thank you once again.

The views are spectacular on three sides. We really liked it, spotlessly clean, well equipped and great value.

Lovely setting - very peaceful and private - peacocks, geese and a cat were there to greet us most days. Stephen was a great host and explained everything clearly and was very helpful. The place was compact but had everything we needed for our stay and was exactly as described and very clean. Asda Express within walking distance. Great location for accessing other parts of Cornwall - we ventured to Perranporth/Newquay which was around 40 mins. Also Tintagel Castle was around 25 mins. We would stay again. Thank you.

This was our first time booking an AirBnB and I needn't have worried. Marcus is a great host, very helpful and the property was exactly like the photos and description. It was in a perfect location for us, in a quiet part of town, but just a 10 minute walk to the town centre where there were some great pubs and Newquays beaches and harbour are also not far away. We found it very quiet in the apartment and weren't disturbed by any noise at all. We thought the Christmas tree and other decorations were a lovely touch and we felt at home and very comfortable.

We’re so glad we chose to stay at Halula Beach House for my hen do weekend, it was the perfect pad! Pool, hot tub, silent disco, huge table we could all sit round… and just a few minutes walk to the gorgeous beach. Would highly recommend it!
