House vacation rentals in Forest Lake

We had a great weekend staying at Eric’s listing! All the amenities were top notch and the home was very clean and nicely decorated. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend this listing to our friends and family!

Perfect, pet-friendly, weekend getaway! Admittedly, the fenced-in backyard and pool was the draw for us. But the house is absolutely beautiful, and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. Rob was very responsive prior to our visit. And made the home inviting, with lights on and music-playing when we arrived. Private, peaceful and relaxing stay. Thank you, Rob! Look forward to a return visit.

My wife and I loved staying at this beautiful house!! The house was extremely nice, the pool was incredible, and patio was very relaxing. The house was also perfectly clean and had a great ambience and decor. We thought the hosts were great and they did an amazing job making sure we enjoyed every aspect of our trip. We would highly recommend staying there!!

Samantha was a great host! We had our family holiday gathering at her place and we couldn't be happier. The game room was great for the kids and even the adults lol. Her place had just enough space for us to enjoy comfortably. The beds are very comfortable too! Thank you again for helping us make our holidays even more special. We will definitely think about staying in the summer to enjoy the pool. Great host, great space and great location. Very stylishly decorated too and the Christmas tree was the perfect added touch for a holiday gathering. Thanks you!

The home was in a very rural area, which made this West Virginia girl and family right at home. It was very spacious, plenty of room, clean, and welcoming. The rules were clearly stated, and description was spot on. The outside was beautiful and quaint. It was the perfect place for our family of 7 plus baby to stay, during a family emergency. It was spacious enough for family to visit, and very accommodating. Will definitely consider this place when we are in Wisconsin visiting.

My big family came to visit us from out of the country, and Leule’s place was perfect to host them for a few days. Leule was also very good with communication throughout our stay there. She was very respectful and kind, and it really elevated our experience at staying there. The only thing was, there were a few ladybugs that we found in the basement during our first night there. Otherwise, everything was clean and comfy.

What a gem….We can’t wait to come back! Our only regret was not planning a longer stay. Even with our large group, we had plenty of room to enjoy together and separately during our stay. Thanks, Sara, for providing us a little slice of heaven for our Girls Getaway Weekend.

Beautiful home. I was not ready to leave. We spent the whole weekend, the home was really clean, spacious and clutter free. I didn’t need to reach out to the host at all, everything was made clear in the emails sent prior to check in. 5 stars all across the board, would definitely like to stay again!

The house location is beautiful being at a lake. The house is comfortable and well furnished. The decor is fascinating. The host, Steven, communicates very well. He left thorough instructions for using the house and appliances. He left suggestions for local restaurants and activities. The home is clean and well maintained. Parking is easy on the lot. At night the path to the rear doorway is well lit by automatic lights.

Marks place was great for us to stay in for a few days. It was nice and clean and he was helpful.

Very beautiful home that gives you an “at home” feel. It’s located about 25 minutes from MSP airport and about 15 - 20 minutes from downtown Minneapolis. The kitchen, bedrooms, living area, etc were clean and well organized. Jessica was very responsive and flexible with allowing us to check in early. I would definitely stay at Jessica’s place again if I’m ever in the area.

Perfect place for our family! Very clean! And they were so wonderful about communication! I cannot say enough about how great they were!

We enjoyed our stay NYE with our kiddos and dog. It was great to find a very nice well kept home that allows dogs as well.

This was a perfect place for our family to be together as close to the airport and MOA. The house is clean and beautiful as it felt very much like home. I would definitely stay here again.

We were in town for a family reunion so we were not at the property much at all. It is set in a beautiful area surrounded by apple trees, grapes, rolling hills… very beautiful. The house is old and felt like we were traveling back in time. A lovely property!

It was not easy to find a 4 bedroom place in MSP that allows a dog. We are grateful Lisa makes her home available. For a home the hosts actually live in, it is well set up as an airbnb. It is a clean, well organized home in a lovely area. MSP is expensive so that was reflected in the price.

nice and cozy

This little home was totally perfect! It is cute and cozy in a great location, convenient to everything yet very peaceful. There is also a great walking bike path close by as well. The house was cute as a button and the kitchen had everything one could want. The linens and down comforter were sooo cozy for our winter stay. Wayne was fantastic. I totally understand why many guests choose to stay here on a regular basis. It was a perfect home base. Thank you!!

The house was charming, the location was awesome and Lucy was very responsive for all our questions! We did have to regroup one day as the power was turned off due to a tree being cut down. The hostess did the best she could do to let us know, it was not her fault! Hope to be able to stay here again sometime......to do more exploring. Thanks for everything Lucy

Can I give six stars? Jen's place was perfect for a couple weeks back in St Paul for 2 adults and a preschooler. The house is in a convenient location, is in great condition and was perfectly clean. The kitchen was almost better equipped than I have at home, the beds were comfortable and the living room was a great place to hang out when it was too cold to play outside. The selection of cool old toys in the playroom was also really nice to have. We stay in a lot of vacation rentals and this was definitely the best we've had in a long time.

Spent family Christmas at this property and it worked extremely well for our group. Very cozy and homey, but with plenty of room. Lana was a great host, quick to respond to any of our inquiries. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

This place is adorable. It is decorated so beautifully with beautiful touches throughout--such a lovely place to hang out in. You felt like you were at a friend's place. Lisa was amazing when communicating and fixed things immediately. The place is very close to a park along the Mississippi, so a wonderful location for walks or running. A real gem of a place.

The Rose cottage is an comfortable historic cottage that the Artis and spouse have lovingly restored. I enjoyed having interesting things to look at everywhere. (NOT a beige and grey place like so many). Artis came immediately when we had an issue. Ability Note: stairs are steep and tub is self standing and requires balance to get in and out.
